To Aurora's dismay, Christmas break had come and gone with the flip of a switch. The children of Grimmauld Place were due to leave the house in a few minutes, and both Aurora and Harry were spending the remaining time with Sirius in the study.

"What's this?" Harry asked, pointing to a family tree on the wall.

"It's the Black family tree. It goes back many generations. There are my amazing parents, my younger brother Regulus, and me," Sirius said, now pointing to a burnt spot on the tree, "I ran away when I was 16, and my mother immediately disowned me and burned me off the wall."

"What about Regulus? Where is he?" Harry asked, while Aurora was sure she already knew the answer.

Sirius' expression turned dark, "Dead. He was a death eater, but later turned around and betrayed Voldemort. Coward."

Aurora was going to say something in response; however, her thought was put on hold when Hermione came in, telling her and Harry that Mrs. Weasley said it was time to go.

"I'm gonna miss you," Aurora finally said, and Sirius quickly pulled her and Harry into a big hug.

The group, which consisted of the Weasley Twins, Ginny, Ron, Hermione, Harry, Aurora, Tonks, Mad-Eye, and Kingsley Shacklebolt, got to the night bus, which would take them to King's Cross.

The bus was significantly busier than Aurora would expect, and there were a variety of witches and wizards on board. Since it was so packed, Aurora squeezed in a row with Tonks and Ginny, and the bus soon left afterward.

The ride was quite nauseating, and Aurora hoped that it would be her last time on this form of transportation. To her luck, it didn't last long, and she was soon dizzily getting of the bus, joining the rest of the group as they walked to Platform 9 3/4.

The kids got on the train, excited for school.

I don't own Harry Potter. The series belongs to J.K. Rowling. I only own Aurora and anything you don't recognize from the books or movies.
