Aurora sat in the hospital bed next to Harry's with a cast around her arm that was used to stabilize it. The rest of the quidditch team, besides Oliver, along with Hermione and Ron were surrounding the two beds.

'Do you think he's okay?'

'He looks a bit pale.'

'Well, Ron lets push you off the Astronomy tower and see how you look.'

"Probably better than he normally does," Aurora heard Harry mutter.

"What happened?" Harry asked, looking around at everyone.

"You fainted, mate," Ron told him, looking worried. Aurora chocked out a sob. When Harry fell into her arms, she thought he was dead.

"No, I mean with the match." Everyone looked to Harry sadly. "We didn't loose, did we?"

"Right after you fell, Diggory caught the snitch. He'd wanted a rematch when he saw what happened, but he won, even Wood admits it," Fred explained.

"Where is Wood, anyway?" Harry asked, looking sad that they lost.

"In the showers, we think he's trying to drown himself," George told him. Madam Pomphrey rushed over when she saw that Harry was awake.

"Get out!" she yelled at the quidditch team. "He needs rest!" She handed him a few potions to drink and walked off.

"Where's my broom?" Harry asked his friends. They exchanged looks with each other, none of them wanting to tell him what happened.

"Well, Harry, when you fell off, it continued to fly," Ron began to explain. "While it was flying, it hit..."

"Oh, Harry, it hit the Womping Willow!" Hermione cried. Ron picked up a blanked with broom pieces on it and placed it on the bed. Harry looked at it sadly.

After a few more minutes, Aurora, Hermione, and Ron decided to leave to give Harry some time alone with his broken broom.

Harry got out of the hospital wing a few days later, still sad about his broom. Aurora was walking to her next class after using her time turner, when she dropped her books on the floor.

She bent down, cursing under her breath, and started picking her books up when she saw another hand picking up her books. Aurora looked up and saw an attractive face looking down at her. She tried to contain her blush, but failed.

"H-hi," she stuttered.

"Hey," he replied, smiling, showing off his pearly white teeth and dimples. He handed her books to her and the two stood up.

"Thanks," Aurora told him. "I'm-"

"Aurora Lupin-Black, I know. I've seen you around a few times," he said, cutting her off.

"Oh." The two laughed awkwardly. "Well, it's nice to meet you..."

"Pierre Alarie," he replied with a heavy French accent. He grabbed her hand and brought it to his lips, kissing it softly. "What is a gorgeous mademoiselle such as yourself doing out here all alone?"

"Oh, I was just walking to class," Aurora told him.

"Then I shall accompany you! Off we go, mademoiselle!" he exclaimed and Aurora giggled. Any thoughts about her attraction towards Harry were gone, and she was now interested in the Slytherin sweetheart.

Aurora found herself spending more and more time with Pierre. He always listened to her when she told him about how she was stressed about her father escaping and all of the classes she was taking. She wasn't able to talk about that with her other friends.

Harry was jealous, and everyone noticed but Aurora. He didn't like what Pierre was doing to her, which only made Pierre flirt with her more. The Gryffinfour were eating breakfast and Aurora began talking about Pierre.

"Did you know Pierre is a quidditch player?" Aurora giggled.

Harry gritted his teeth together. "I'm a quidditch player too."

"Yeah, but he's a really good quidditch player!"

"I really don't see why you like him so much! His muscles are probably fake!" Harry argued. He didn't know why he was so upset about Aurora being friends with Pierre, but he wanted it to stop. She deserved better than him.

"I'm going to go hang out with Cedric," Aurora said, gathering her things and walking over to the Hufflepuff table.

Harry acted angry for the rest of the day. Aurora didn't know why he was so upset about her hanging out with Pierre. She walked up to Harry in the common room and sat on the couch next to him.

"Harry," Aurora said softly. The boy turned away from her. "Please talk to me."

"Why do you hang out with Pierre so much?" Harry asked.

"He's a good friend, Harry, that's it," Aurora replied.

"Well he doesn't seem to think so."

"Harry, trust me. Pierre and I aren't going to be anything other than friends."
