Harry's head turned in Aurora's direction, and green eyes met grey.

"Rory!" he exclaimed, and walked over to her. Aurora immediately gathered her things and tried to quickly walk out of the common room and into the deserted hallways which were filled with paintings.

Before she could get away from him, Harry grabbed her wrist and turned her around.

"Rory! What's wrong? You haven't spoken to any of us since-"

"Aurora," the girl said, cutting him off.

"What?" Harry asked, confused and furrowing his eyebrows together.

"It's Aurora. Don't call me Rory anymore."

Harry was extremely confused with her behavior. He wanted to get mad at her for avoiding everyone for the past few weeks, but after taking in her tired and frail figure, he decided not to.

Harry's face softened. "Aurora, you need to tell me what's-"

"Excuse me," a voice said. Aurora immediately recognized it as Pierre. "I think my girlfriend wants you to leave."

"Girlfriend?" Harry asked, shocked. Aurora was shocked at what her friend said too. They hadn't even shown romantic interest in each other, but he told Harry they were dating.

"Yes. Do I really need to repeat myself?" Pierre asked, cracking his knuckles together and looking as if he were about to fight someone.

"No," Harry told him, and walked away looking slightly scared. Pierre turned to Aurora looking angry.

"I thought I told you not to speak to him," he growled, grabbing her shoulders and making it so that she couldn't walk away.

"I-I wasn't" Aurora stuttered. "He followed me out of the common room."

Pierre examined her face, taking in all of her beauty. He loosened his grip on her, knowing that he would have to speak with the Potter boy later and tell him and the rest of the Golden Quartet to stop speaking with Aurora. If she couldn't get rid of them herself, he would have to.

"Okay. But I want you to know, I don't want you hanging out with those other people. They aren't good enough for you."

"But they're my friends!" Aurora exclaimed.

"They're just using you. I don't know how you can't see that."

Pierre continued to tell her that her other friends were just using her and didn't really want to be her friend, and Aurora began to believe him.

A few days later, it was the final quidditch match. The game was Gryffindor v. Slytherin, and Aurora was excited. There was a chance that they could loose, but the team had been practicing almost every night and some early mornings, too.

Aurora woke up and did her usual routine that she did on other quidditch match mornings. After getting ready and eating breakfast, she walked down to the quidditch pitch with her broom in hand.

She enjoyed going down to the pitch early. Most mornings, like today, the sun would be rising and Aurora loved watching it.

A few minutes later, the rest of the Gryffindor team was there and Oliver instructed them to warm up. Aurora and Harry still weren't speaking. Harry, Hermione, and Ron tried talking to her multiple times over the past few days, but she wouldn't say anything.

The match began after 30 minutes of warm up and pep talks, and Aurora's blood was pumping as she walked out onto the field.

The captains shook hands and the game begun.

It wasn't even 10 minutes into the game and things were already getting violent.

Crabbe grabbed a quaffle and used it to hit and break Aurora's nose.

"Penalty!" Madam Hooch screamed, and Angelina took the shot as the professor fixed Aurora's nose.

As a result, Fred hid Crabbe with a beaters bat for hurting someone who he thought of as a sister.

"Penalty!" Madam Hooch roared, and one of the guys on the Slytherin team threw the ball, but missed.

A few penalties and broken bones later, Draco and Harry were chasing the snitch around. Harry was about to catch it when Draco grabbed the back of his broom to pull him away ("PENALTY!").

As Aurora stole the quaffle from someone on the Slytherin team and was about to throw it in the goal, Lee Jordan's voice rang throughout the pitch.

"Harry Potter has caught the snitch! Gryffindor won the Quidditch Cup!"

I don't own Harry Potter. The series belongs to J.K. Rowling. I only own Aurora and anything you don't recognize from the books or movies.
