After Aurora and Harry said goodbye to their friends as they went on their way to Hogsmeade, Aurora and Harry walked back, hand in hand, to their common room. When they got there, they were instantly greeted by Colin Creevey.

"Hey Colin!" Aurora said to him, trying to be nice.

"Aurora! Harry! You're not going to Hogsmeade? You can sit with us!"

"Err... no thanks, we were just leaving," Harry said awkwardly. The couple left the common room.

"Oh honestly! Why would you wake me up?!" the fat lady screeched.

The two walked around Hogwarts, both bored out of their minds. As they were passing Professor Lupin's door, he happened to open it.

"Harry, why aren't you two at Hogsmeade?" he asked.

"Um... I get my form signed," Harry replied.

"Oh... would you like to come in and have some tea?" he asked. Harry and Aurora exchanged a glance and nodded. The two followed him into his office. They sat down on the two fluffy chairs in front of the older man, and he took out some warm water and tea bags. "I hope you don't mind the tea bags, but I daresay you've had enough of tea leaves, Harry."

"Yeah... how do you know that?"

"Heard it from McGonagall," Lupin replied airily. The three quietly sipped their tea for a few minutes before Professor Snape came strutting in the office with a bottle of a strange liquid. "Oh hello," said the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. "I was just showing Harry and Aurora my grindilows," he told Snape cheerily.

"I see," Snape drawled. "You'll want to take that directly, Lupin." After his mysterious statement, he walked out, his cloak trailing behind him.

"I'm feeling a bit off color, and Professor Snape kindly decided to brew a potion for me," Lupin told the two teens, both of whom were starring at the goblet. He made a face after tasting it. "Pity sugar makes it useless."

Professor Snape's very interested in the Dark Arts," Harry blurted out. The professor raised an eyebrow while Aurora mentally groaned.

"Is that so?" Lupin asked. "Hmm... well if you'll excuse me, I have some papers to grade." The two got out of their seats and left the room after Aurora hugged her papa.

The couple walked back to Gryffindor tower and laid on one of the couches together, talking. About a quarter of an hour later, Hermione and Ron came back in, and Ron dumped a bunch of candy on their laps.

"Got as much as we could carry," the redhead explained. Aurora and Harry nodded in thanks. They put the candy up and the group walked to the Halloween Feast. They all indulged in delicious food. Even Hermione and Ron, who had their stomachs full on candy and butterbeer, were able to eat plates full.

Afterward, they walked back to Gryffindor tower, but to their surprise, multiple of their peers were huddled in front of the fat lady's portrait.

"Maybe Neville forgot the password," Ron assumed.

"Hey!" the Longbottom boy exclaimed over the worried murmuring of other students. He'd just so happened to be right next to the group. Aurora smacked Ron's shoulder lightly, knowing that although Neville was quite forgetful, it was rude to point it out and talk about it, thinking that the young boy wouldn't know.

"Excuse me, coming through!" Percy Weasley exclaimed. The group didn't seem to budge at his voice. "I'm head boy! Move it!" Eventually, the Gryffindor's cleared out of the way, tired of hearing the Weasley boy. "Get Professor Dumbledore, quick," he said sharply a few moments later.
