The Night Party

The night of the Quidditch match, there was a party in the Gryffindor common room. Fred and George sneaked into Hogsmeade and got a variety of food and drinks, including Firewhisky.

Aurora tried not to drink any, since she had a lot of homework to do after, but she might have drank a few cups of Butterbeer.

Or maybe more.

Aurora wouldn't remember because after that, everything was a blur.

Except for a few hours after the part was shut down by Professor McGonagall, she heard a loud scream coming from the boy's dormitory.

Everyone ran down to the common room to see what was wrong. Ron was down there with Harry and the other boys that he shared a room with. He was pale and shaking.

"Sirius Black! Sirius Black was over my bed with a knife!" he yelled. Immediately everyone looked at Aurora accusingly and began whispering more rumors about her. Aurora saw Percy and other peoples mouths moving, however she couldn't hear them due to the loud ringing in her ears and her heavy breathing.

Thoughts whirled in her mind as she thought about what could have happened if her father had hurt Ron. All of the Weasleys are like her siblings, and Aurora didn't know what she would do if she lost one of them.

Before anyone could stop her, she ran out of the room so that nobody could see her crying.

Aurora began to distance herself from the rest of the Golden Quartet. Sirius Black kept trying to hurt the people closest to her, and she wanted it to stop.

To avoid coming near Harry, Hermione, and Ron, she spent most of her time in the library, and in her dorm if Hermione was there. She would stay in an empty classroom and study at night so that Hermione wouldn't try to talk to her since they were sharing a room. The girl also skipped meals to avoid her friends. She had dark bags under her eyes from the lack of sleep, and her skin was pale.

Her father was to busy with his lessons and the full moon to notice, and Pierre began ignoring her and would hang out with his Slytherin friends.

From what she heard, Ron told anyone who asked (and anyone who didn't), about what happened with Sirius Black.

"I heard the window creak- I thought it was just the wind, you know? The next thing I knew, Sirius Black was standing over me with a knife!"

"He looked like he was going to hurt me, so I screamed, which woke da boys up, and he ran out of the room."

It was clear that the redhead was loving the attention, seeing as it was normally all on Harry.

Aurora, however, was not loving the added attention she was getting. Rumors about her were being spread left and right, and she didn't know who to trust.

According to Lavender Brown, most people who were saying things about her heard them from Pierre first. But Aurora knows he wouldn't do that. He's not like everyone else.

Or maybe he is.

I don't own Harry Potter. The series belongs to J.K. Rowling. I only own Aurora and anything you don't recognize from the books and movies.
