The quidditch match ended with Ireland wining, but with Bulgaria's seeker, Viktor Krum, catching the snitch. The large group walked back to their tent to celebrate the win, besides Ron who was sulking at the fact that his idols team didn't win the World Cup. As the evening continued on, the group continued to celebrate, however the festivities abruptly stopped when loud noises, that didn't sound like those of celebration, were being heard from outside.
Mr. Weasley quickly ran out of the homey tent to see what was happening in their surroundings. He came back inside, right as one of the Weasley twins muttered that they guess the Irish got their pride on.
"It's not the Irish," Mr. Weasley said sharply, "We're under attack. Bill, Charlie, Percy, come help me. Fred and George you're in charge of Ginny." Their father turned to the Gryffinfour, "You four keep each other safe."
Aurora didn't say anything, but she knew that wouldn't happen, considering her and Hermione were the only ones with any brain cells.
Everyone grabbed their coats and rushed out of the room, trying to get away from the danger.
"Harry, this way!" Hermione yelled, when Harry was about to run into the direction of the attack- another reason why he's not in Ravenclaw. He quickly followed her, Ron, and Aurora, as they ran towards the forest.
As they traveled, they could see many people, most who seemed to be muggles, being tortured and killed. Aurora's heard ached for those people, and she wished she could do something to help.
Before she knew it, she was parted from her friends. She continued to run, knowing it was not wise to just stand where she was and get killed.
As Aurora attempted to travel to safety, the girl stopped when she heard cries coming from behind a tree. She would have continued, but it seemed like the cries of someone who needed help (and there weren't any other people in the area, so it was likely that her and whoever the other person was is safe).
"Hello?" she called out calmly, not wanting to intimidate the person or seem like she could cause harm to them.
"W-who's there?" the mysterious voice said. It seemed like it belonged to a young girl. Aurora walked behind the tree that the voice came from and as she guessed, there was a girl sitting behind there, around the age of ten.
Aurora sat down next to the girl and pulled her hand out to offer a handshake. The girl timidly looked at it, and eventually brought out her hand to return it.
"I'm Aurora. What's your name?" she introduced, knowing it would be hard to comfort someone she doesn't know the name of.
"C-Celia. Celia Roberts." Celia replied quietly, sniffling in between her words.
"Well Celia, do you wanna tell me what happened?" Aurora asked.
"I got lost from my parents!" she wailed.
"It's okay. I'll help you find them!" Aurora told her in attempt to cheer her up.
Celia nodded in reply and they stood up after Aurora gave her a tissue to wipe her tears.
The two of them began their journey to get back to safety.
I don't own Harry Potter. The series belongs to J.K. Rowling. I only own Aurora and anything you don't recognize from the books or movies.
