Fault

Aurora sat, traumatized, in the Hospital Wing next to Harry, who was sleeping. Remus and Sirius came to Hogwarts as quickly as they could after hearing about the death of Cedric. Although Aurora wasn't there when his death happened, she couldn't help but feel as if it was her fault. Earlier last year, she had a vision about someone dying. It wasn't until then that she realized it was Cedric's death that she saw.

The worst part is that Aurora had nobody to confide in. She was afraid to let anybody know about her dream, thinking that if they found out, they would blame her for his death (which Aurora was already doing to herself).

Cedric was a young man, who hadn't even graduated Hogwarts yet. He had his whole life ahead of him. But because of Aurora he was dead. Aurora felt that if she had looked more into her dream, his death could have been prevented.

Sirius and Remus, both sensing that something was wrong with their daughter, came over to her.

"Something wrong, pup?" Remus asked gently.

"Nothing, 'm just tired," Aurora responded, trying to not break down and cry in front of her parents.

"Do you wanna go back to your dorm? The hospital wing beds are kinda uncomfortable," Sirius suggested, knowing that what she said wasn't the full truth, but not wanting to press it.

"Yeah," Aurora replied.

"Okay, we'll be up there in a bit, your father and I are just gonna have a talk first," Remus said calmly.

After Aurora left, the two men began talking in hushed voices, hoping that any outsiders couldn't hear them.

"You don't think she had a vision of Cedric's death, do you?" Sirius asked his husband.

"It's possible, but I can't understand why she didn't tell us," Remus said.

"D-do you think she doesn't trust us?" Sirius asked, tears forming in his eyes. Remus quickly began to comfort the man.

"No, of course not, Siri. Rory's probably just having a rough time with her visions. We've just gotta make sure we're there for her. We've gotta make sure she doesn't start thinking that his death is her fault."

After the men cleared their face from tears, they walked up to Aurora's room. When they entered, they saw their daughter in her bed, sobbing.

"Rory, what's wrong?" Remus asked as he and Sirius rushed to her side.

"Oh, nothing. I just read a sad part in my book," Aurora responded, plastering a smile on her face.

"Are you sure you're okay, Rory. You seemed pretty sad," Sirius told her.

The girl nodded and went to rest.

I don't own Harry Potter. The series belongs to J.K. Rowling. I only own Aurora and anything you don't recognize from the books or movies.
