July 31, 1982:

Today was her 2nd birthday. His baby girl, his little princess, was turning two. He wished he could be there, watching her messily eat her cake, with a bright smile on her face. But he was stuck in Azkaban.

Still, he hoped that she would have a great birthday with Remus, but little did he know that she was sitting in at the front door in his leather jacket, wishing he would come home.

He remembers the day when they were talking about it. Well, it was mostly him doing the talking, since she was a little over one year old.

He asked her what theme she wanted. "Princess!" she exclaimed. Then he asked what he would be, and she said that he would be her king, and that he would protect her from the bad guys.

July 31, 1983:

It was her 3rd birthday, the second one he missed. Still, Aurora never celebrated it, she'd asked Remus not to until he was home.

July 31, 1984:

He hoped Aurora was happy. He hoped she was alive. He hoped that he could see her again.

But she couldn't say the same for him.

She'd learned what he'd done. She heard how he killed Peter Pettigrew and 13 innocent muggles. She hoped that he was suffering for what he'd done and that one day, he would be dead.

July 31, 1991:

Aurora would be going to Hogwarts this year. He had so many questions he wished he knew the answer to. What house would she be in? Who did she look like? Him, or Remus? Who was her best friend? Her wand? What would her favorite class be? Realizing that he didn't know the answer to these things only made him miss her more.

As time went on, there wasn't a day that Sirius Black didn't miss his daughter. He only hoped that he could see her again.

I don't own Harry Potter. The series belongs to J.K Rowling. I only own Aurora any anything that wasn't in the Harry Potter books or movies.
