"Wait- so I'm from a book?!" Aurora asked, shocked.
"It appears so," Kade responded with great excitement, "This means that the whole alternate dimension theory is real! This is so exciting! What's it like in the wizarding world? Are you really friends with Harry Potter? How is it having Remus Lupin and the Sirius Black as parents. God, they're both such legends."
"I mean, I guess. They're just like every other parents, you know? Like, I guess it was a little weird at first, going from one parent to two, but you get used to it," Aurora explained.
"I think I'll save my fangirling for later, because I think I've found a way to possibly get you back home," Kade said, trying to calm down.
"Okay, what is it?" Aurora asked, hoping whatever he had discovered would work.
"So, I think if we maybe get you into the Half Blood Prince book- I'll explain what that is later," Kade informed her at her expression of confusion, "you'll get back to your family and be right back in the correct timeline, since you left right at the end of Order of the Phoenix."
"Um, okay. Should we try that now, or do you think we should wait?"
"We can try it now, you know, in case it doesn't work," Kade told her, and the two stood up and walked to his bedroom, where Aurora assumed the books were that he was talking about.
"Here it is," Kade announced, going to his bookshelf and taking out a book titled Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, "If my assumptions are correct, this should get you back home."
"Great, so what do I have to do?" Aurora asked, taking the book from his hands.
"Well, I think you should open it up to the first page, since if time goes at the same speed it does there, that's where everyone in that universe is at," Kade explained.
"Okay, now what?"
"Maybe just... put it on the floor and step on it? I don't know, I haven't thought this far ahead," Kade admitted.
The girl did what he said and stood on the book, going into it while holding his hand.
