Attack

That Saturday, it was the first Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Slytherin. Admittedly, Aurora was quite nervous, considering over the years she's been taking the sport more and more seriously. The practice before the match, Angelina approached Aurora, telling her that she was considering putting the fifth year as the Quidditch captain next year.

Aurora was trying to not let that affect her performance, reminding herself that the stress she was feeling was just temporary, and it was due to the sudden shock of being considered for the position.

The Quidditch match went through Aurora's mind like a blur. The only memorable part to her was the horrible song the Slytherins were singing. Even though Gryffindor won the match, the Slytherins continued to sing the song Draco Malfoy apparently created in attempts to mess Ron Weasley up.

"Weasley is our king,

He cannot block a single thing,

That's why all the Slytherins sing:

Weasley is our king."

The Gryffindor Quidditch team annoyedly made their way out of the locker rooms and the loud, animal like noise of the Slytherins apparently trying to be pop artists.

"Shut up, Malfoy," Harry said, walking toward the beach-blonde idiot

"Quiet, Potter. I think it's time we have a little chat with the Weasleys, shall we? Let them know how much of an idiot their mother is. Don't you agree, Potter?" Malfoy asked, looking at the spectacled boy, "Of course, you're all over their mother, aren't you, considering you don't have one."

"At least I don't have death eaters for parents, Malfoy," Harry snapped at the Slytherin.

"Right, well at least my parents aren't poor like the Weasley's here or monsters. You'd know all about that, wouldn't you, Lupin-Black?"

Before Aurora could respond, Harry, Ron, and the Weasley twins started attacking Malfoy. The Weasleys were already upset at him insulting their parents, but he could never get away with disrespecting Aurora.

Angelina had to use all her strength to hold back Alicia Spinnet, who was somewhat friends with Aurora too, considering how much they had to spend practicing Quidditch together as chasers.

Professor Hooch stomped onto the porch, blowing her whistle loudly, "Boys, boys! Stop fighting this instant!"

Aurora didn't know how it happened, but it took just a second for the professor to pull them off Malfoy.

"What is the meaning of this?! Go to your Head of House immediately! You too, girls," the woman said, looking at Angelina, Alicia, and Aurora.

After an uncomfortable walk that seemed like hours when in reality, it was less than 15 minutes, the group arrived at Professor McGonagall's office.

"Come in, dears," the Transfiguration professor said, ushing them into the room, "I've just received word as to what happened from Madam Hooch. Please, sit."

Once they were all situated, Professor McGonagall began her speech, "What gives you all the right to attack another student?" she asked, angry at them, "It is entirely unacceptable and in the house of Gryffindor, we do not tolerate it."

"Please, professor," Angelina began, explaining what happened, "Malfoy was picking on Aurora, Harry, and the Weasley's parents."

Before the older woman could respond, Professor Umbridge walked into the room.

"Yes, Dolores?" Professor McGonagall asked, clearly not wanting to talk to the woman.

"Hello, Minerva, dear. I just caught wind that your quidditch team was having a little chat with you in your office, and I decided to come to figure out a disciplinary punishment for what they did."

"I'm sure I can figure that out myself, considering I'm the Head of House and have been a professor here for over 30 years," Professor McGonagall replied.

"Yes, I see where you may be coming from, but I am, the High Inquisitor, and with that title I have the right and ability to come up with punishments for their actions."

"Well, Miss. Lupin-Black, Miss. Spinnet, and Miss. Johnson haven't done anything," Professor McGonagall began, but she was cut off.

"Miss. Spinnet was going to fight, if Miss. Johnson hadn't pulled her back. Considering Miss. Johnson did that, that makes them both victims of the fight. Miss. Lupin-Black, however-"

"Didn't do anything wrong," Professor McGonagall interrupted, "Please, return to your common room, Miss. Lupin-Black. Your friends will join you soon and I'll see you in class on Monday."

The girl quickly left the room.

I don't own Harry Potter. The series belongs to J.K. Rowling. I only own Aurora and anything you don't recognize from the books or movies.
