Aurora, somehow, found herself in the Ministry of Magic. She didn't know what was going on, and everywhere she looked there was fighting around her. The girl was surrounded by presumably death eaters, and at the center of it all she saw Sirius fighting Bellatrix.

"Aurora! What are you doing here!" Sirius shouted turning to the girl. In the back, she could see Remus and other members of the Order of the Phoenix, who turned to the girl when they heard her name.

"Advada-"

Before Bellatrix could kill Sirius, Aurora ran in front of him.

All Aurora could see was bright light, and she wasn't sure what was going on. Was she dead? The girl wasn't entirely sure. Suddenly, a nice cottage appeared in front of her. Aurora walked inside, and at first, she was confused as to what she was seeing.

"Papa, Dad! I got my Hogwarts letter!" A little girl exclaimed, who happened to look like an eleven-year-old Aurora.

"That's great, little star!" Sirius (Aurora assumed) responded, running up to the younger girl and hugging her tightly.

"How about we go to Diagon Alley to buy your supplies? We can get ice cream too to celebrate!" Remus suggested, now getting into the picture.

Aurora was confused at first as to what she was seeing, however she soon realized that it was what her life would have been like if Sirius was there. Although Remus was a great father, her life seemed somewhat sad without Sirius there. She didn't really want to complain though, since there were people living in worse circumstances than her.

Soon, the house was gone, and Remus and Sirius were seen in a hospital.

"Here's your daughter," a woman said, leading them into a hospital room, "What are you doing to name her?"

Remus and Sirius didn't even need to think about what the baby's name would be. "Aurora, they responded in unison."

"It follows family tradition and is the name of the woman who carried her for nine months," Sirius said.

Aurora looked up at them and smiled, her bright eyes shining at them.

The girl didn't really know where she was or why she saw those memories, but she was glad.

I don't own Harry Potter. The series belongs to J.K. Rowling. I only own Aurora and anything you don't recognize from the books or movies.
