A couple weeks later, Dumbledore's Army had their first meeting in the Room of Requirement. At 7:00, the last few members arrived, and everyone was ready to start.

"Hello everyone," Harry began, stepping in front of the group as all eyes turned to him, "Today we're going to be working on the disarming spell."

"Pfft. Why would we learn that? It's such a basic spell," Ernie Macmillian complained. A few students scoffed or rolled their eyes at him.

"Well, Ernie," Harry began, speaking up for the students who might not know the spell, "some students haven't learned this spell less, as they're in a younger year than us, and not everyone has fully mastered it yet. I think it's best to make sure we all have the basics first, so that it's easier to understand the higher-level spells."

Ernie couldn't think of a remark, so he just stepped back further into the crowd of students.

After Harry explained the spell, everyone separated into groups to work on it. Aurora paired up with Ginny, and the two began disarming each other since they were already able to do the spell. Although Aurora was partially focused on working on the spell, she had to try to not get distracted at Harry helping Cho on the spell for an extremely long time.

Although Aurora didn't really have the right to be upset, since her and Harry weren't dating, right? Aurora wasn't sure where this newfound jealousy for Cho came from.

About an hour and a half later, it was time for the meeting to end.

"Um... great work today, everyone!" Harry exclaimed looking at all of the determined students around the room, "I'm not sure at this time when we'll be meeting again, so I'll be thinking of a time we're all available and let you guys know as soon as possible, okay?"

The group all let out various responses of confirmation and began leaving the Room of Requirement in groups to try to not get noticed. Soon, it was just Harry and Aurora left in the room.

Before the two left to go back to their common room, Aurora approached Harry and began to talk to him.

"So, what's going on with you and Cho Chang?" Aurora asked out of curiosity. It wasn't like she thought Cho had a crush on Harry or anything, and anyway, if he did, she was fine with that. It wasn't like she liked him in that way.

Harry turned bright red and stuttered as he talked, "Erm, nothing, I think. Cho and I are just friends, you know? Besides, I have my eyes on someone else."

Aurora unintentionally lit up at the fact that he didn't have a crush on Cho, but that was ruined when he said there was another guy or girl he was into, "Oh, well who's the lucky person?"

"I'm not really ready to tell anyone yet, you know? I kinda want her to know first. But I can tell you that she's amazing and beautiful and the best person I've ever met," Harry responded, looking happy at the thought of that person.

"That's really sweet of you to say that about someone, Harry," Aurora said, trying not to sound sad.

The two eventually reached their common room and went to sleep.

I don't own Harry Potter. The series belongs to J.K. Rowling. I only own Aurora and anything you don't recognize from the books or movies.
