"Are you okay, Aurora?"

Remus and Sirius walked into her room after realizing she woke up. The girl immediately put her hand under her bed comforter after remembering the hurtful words written on it.

"Uh, hi?" Aurora said, trying to make it seem like she was fine, when in reality she was far from it.

"We brought you some food," Remus told her, placing a tray of some soup and bread, along with a glass of water, on the bed.

"Thank you," Aurora responded.  Before she could say anything else, the two sat on either side of her and brought her into a hug.

Aurora couldn't hold her feelings in anymore as she began to sob.

"I- I don't know what's wrong with me," the girl cried.

"What do you mean, Rory?" Sirius asked. He and Remus exchanged glances of deep concern for their daughter.

"I keep getting these visions or something, and they keep coming true. I just want them to stop, I want it all to stop!"

Remus and Sirius both had a feeling that she would start getting the visions at some point while at Hogwarts, and the two had talked about it periodically with each other.

"Before we tell you about these, we need you to tell us what else is wrong," Remus said as the group hug ended.

"I had a vision earlier, and I passed out, like always. It was of you dying, dad," Aurora said truthfully, looking at Sirius, "And last time this happened, it was with Cedric, and he died, and it's all my fault and now I'm going to be the reason for your death too."

Sirius hugged the girl again, "The good thing about these visions, Rory, is that now we can try to prevent whatever you saw."

"You promise you won't die?" Aurora asked. What she said unintentionally brought Remus back to when she was a little girl, crying to him whenever she was upset. The two were always close, and despite Sirius not being there, the two were still a happy little family. Now, they were a lot less open with each other, and Remus blames himself on that. After her third year, they were a lot more distant and although Aurora had some sort of bond with Sirius, too, it was a lot lower than the usual relationships between a parent and a child.

"I'm not going anywhere, Rory, I promise," Sirius told her softly, gently kissing the top of her head.

"Is there anything else you need to tell us, Aurora?" Remus asked her. Aurora shook her head in response, not yet ready to tell them everything going on.

"Now, your papa and I think it's time we tell you about where your visions are coming from," Sirius said after he and Remus had a mental discussion with each other, eventually deciding it was time to tell Aurora.

"The night James and Lily died," Remus began, trying to not get choked up at the thought of his friend's death, "Peter placed a curse on you, seeing as he was ordered to by Voldemort. It was created to give you visions, and you were planned to be used as Voldemort's weapon. Luckily, Voldemort was temporarily stopped by Harry, but now that he's coming back, we wanted to make sure you knew of the dangers you will have to face."

"We're going to do everything in our power to keep you safe, though," Sirius said gravely, "Starting next school year there will be aurrors at Hogwarts to keep you and Harry safe."

The girl was scared of the dangers she may have to face.

I don't own Harry Potter. The series belongs to J.K. Rowling. I only own Aurora and anything you don't recognize from the books or movies.
