A few days later, as the Gryffinfour were eating breakfast, an owl flew in the Great Hall, stopping at Harry.

The boy took the letter and opened it, wondering what it's contents were and hoping it was a reply from Sirius.

To his excitement, it was. Aurora peered over his shoulder and read the letter with him.

Dear Harry,

I couldn't risk sending Hedwig.

Ever since the World Cup the Ministry has had much tougher security.

I'm flying north immediately. The news about your scar has started a strange series of rumors that have reached me here. If it hurts again, go straight to Dumbledore. They're saying he's gotten Mad-Eye out of retirement, which means he's reading the signs even when no one else is.

Keep in touch. Send my best to Hermione and Ron, and tell Aurora I love her.  Keep your eyes open Harry, and make sure nobody messes with my daughter.

-Sirius

Aurora scoffed, knowing that there was no need for Harry to make sure no one messed with her. She was also slightly jealous of Harry, and wished that she got a letter from him.

Immediately that day during their lunch break, Harry set a letter to Sirius, letting him know that he was fine- even though he wasn't.

As he and the rest of the Gryffinfour were walking to their next class, the stopped when they found many students, all from different years, huddled around a piece of parchment hung on the wall.

Notice: Durmstang and Beaubaxtons Students Arriving October 31!

More information towards the Triwizard Tournament will be given that evening at the feast!

"The Triwizard Tournament! I've gotta tell Cedric!" Ernie Macmillan, a fourth year Hufflepuff, exclaimed, walking through the group of students and rushing to where Aurora assumed Cedric would be.

Ron scoffed, "Cedric Diggory? Why should that idiot be placed into the tournament?"

Aurora scowled at him, "He's not an idiot. Personally, I think he's rather smart."

"Only because you think he's attractive," Ron muttered, and Aurora punched his shoulder in response.

When October 31 rolled around the corner, everyone got both nervous and excited for their guests. Everyone was gathered in the courtyard, waiting for the arrival of the other schools.

Aurora stood impatiently as she watched Professor McGonagall scold other Gryffindors for different things, such as the butterfly in Parvati's hair.

Suddenly, a bunch of animals (which Aurora guessed were flying horses) quickly flew towards Hogwarts, carrying a carriage behind it.

"It's a dragon!" One of the first years yelled, pointing towards the sky.

"Don't be stupid, it's a flying horse!" Dennis shouted in response.

Sure enough, Dennis was correct. The carriage was flown to the ground and stopped. After a few moments, a tall woman got out and began walking towards Dumbledore. The two shared greetings with each other, however Aurora couldn't hear what they were saying.

"My students," the woman said in a heavy French accent, motioning to the girls behind her, who had fluttered out of the elegant carriage. They were dressed in matching blue outfits -which, in Auroras opinion, were rather stylish- that were paired with a blue hat and blue shoes.

As much as Aurora liked what they were wearing, it didn't seem to be weather appropriate clothes. All of the girls were shivering. Professor Dumbledore allowed the Headmistress, who Aurora learned was named Madam Maxime, to lead her students inside for warmth.

The remaining students stayed outside in the cold, waiting for the other school to arrive.

I don't own Harry Potter. The series belongs to J.K. Rowling. I only own Aurora and anything you don't recognize from the books or movies.
