Aurora didn't know how long she was at the Owlery, but what she would assume was a couple of hours later, she heard footsteps behind her.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" a voice she recognized as Harry asked, motioning to the sunset that was now appearing in the sky. Aurora simply nodded.

"Are you okay?" Harry asked, turning to the girl.

"Yeah," she smiled, but Harry could tell it was fake.

"Rory, you don't have to always be okay," the Potter sighed, placing his hand on her smaller one. "Sometimes you can let us look after you. It doesn't always need to be vice versa."

A few days later, the Gryffindors had their first quidditch practice. Aurora and Harry walked down to the pitch where the rest of the team was gathered.

"Alright team, this is it," Oliver Wood, the 7th year quidditch captain began, "This is our last chance. My last chance to win the Quidditch cup. I thought with Harry and Aurora joining a couple years ago, we would have the trophy in the bag but due to some... incontrollable circumstances, this couldn't happen." He looked gloomy for a moment, but not even a second later he continued pacing around the tent, saying his speech. "But this year is our year. We have three great chasers."

Aurora, Katie Bell, and Angelina Johnson smiled at being mentioned.

"Two unbeatable beaters."

Fred and George pretended to blush. "Stop Oliver, you're embarrassing us," Fred joked.

"A seeker that's never failed to win us a match!" the 7th year exclaimed, looking at Harry. "And me," he added as an afterthought.

"We think you're good too, Oliver," Angelina said in attempt to boost his confidence.

"Yeah, a spankin good keeper," George added. On that encouraging note, they began practice.

A few hours later, the team slowly walked back to the Gryffindor common room. It seemed, for Aurora, at least, that her body was aching with every step. Her muscles were sore from the few hours of exercising.

"You okay, love?" Harry asked her when they got to the common room.

"Yeah," she panted. "I'm gonna go take a shower." Aurora began to walk to her dorm when Harry grabbed her wrist, turning her around.

"Do you want to do homework in my dorm with me?" he asked, making puppy dog eyes.

"After we shower. Not going to be rude, but we smell disgusting."

Harry sighed in defeat, knowing she was right. "Okay." The two walked their separate ways and took their showers. After Aurora got out of hers, she changed into leggings and a sweatshirt to get more comfortable, and went over to the 3rd year Gryffindor boys dorm room. Harry was already in there and changed. Aurora laid in his bed next to him, and Harry pulled a blanket over her, knowing that she was always cold.

"This is nice," Aurora said after a few moments of silence.

Harry hummed in agreement. "Yeah, we haven't gotten much time alone since the beginning of the year. Shall we work on some homework? You probably have a lot with all of the classes that you're taking."

"Sure," Aurora replied, and the two took their work out. After about half an hour, Harry was already done, so he decided to watch his friend work, thinking about how lucky he was that he had her, even if it was only as a friend. She was kind to everyone, she never judged them and was always willing to go out of her way to help someone. She also was smart and funny, always wearing a smile on her face that would light up the room. Aurora also was often what kept people going. She made sure that they were thinking positive and that eventually, no matter how bad things were, everything would be okay.

It was a couple minutes later that Harry noticed that she'd fallen asleep on her homework, so he gently removed her work from her hands, placing it on the desk beside the bed. Harry moved her body gently so that it was in a more comfortable position for her, knowing that her muscles got sore depending on how she slept, and made sure that the blanket was covering her up so that she wouldn't get cold.

The next day Aurora woke up in a bed that she knew wasn't hers. When she went to sit up, she noticed that there was a pair of arms wrapped around her waist.

"Pstt, Harry," the girl whispered quietly. He hummed quietly, most likely just waking up. "Harry, I have to go get ready for class."

"Don't go," he mumbled when she tried to remove his arms. "It's only 4:00," he told her, looking at his watch.

"I know, I still have some homework to finish up," she replied.

"Please stay," Harry pleaded.

"Sorry." Aurora got out of his bed, gathered her homework from the previous night, and placed a light kiss on his forehead before quietly leaving, making sure not to wake the other boys in his dorm up. After Aurora finished her homework, she showered, dried her hair, and got dressed for the dear, putting on her usual uniform.

By the time she was done, Hermione was up and getting ready. Aurora decided to read some books while she waited for Hermione to finish, and then the two walked downstairs, where Harry and Ron were already waiting. The four walked to breakfast and when they finished, they started their day.

The four walked to Transfiguration when they were met with loud sobbing.

"Lavender, what's wrong?" Hermione asked.

"Her rabbit, Binky, died," explained Parvati.

"Well, was Binky an old rabbit?" Hermione asked in her most fakest sweet voice.

"N-no! And-nd do you know what today is?! O-October 16th!"

"Well, you couldn't have been dreading it, because what happened would have come as a real shock." Lavender only sobbed harder.

"Don't mind Hermione, she doesn't have the decency to be kind about peoples pets," Ron said loudly. Professor McGonagall opened the door, and it was lucky she did because half the class looked like they wanted to kill Hermione.

"C'mon, Harry, just ask McGonagall. She can't say no," Ron urged Harry. He was trying to get him to ask Professor McGonagall if he could go to Hogsmeade, despite not getting his form signed. He tried to get Aurora to ask too, but she declined, knowing that it was useless.

"Yeah, maybe I will," Harry said, looking a bit happier. He walked over to the professor and they talked for a few moments before he came back, defeated. "She said no," he mumbled, looking to the ground.

"Well, we'll be sure to bring you both back something," Hermione said, trying to cheer them up.

"Oh, no, you don't have to do that-"

"You're right, we don't. But we're going to anyway."

"Well, I know it might not be as exciting as going to Hogsmeade, but at least the two of us can spend some time together," Aurora told him.

Little did she know, that meant more to him than anything.

A/N: Sorry this is a super short chapter, I had no idea what to put. Please comment if you have any ideas for any brother/sister moments with Aurora and any of the Weasleys, Hermione, or Draco, because I feel like I'm only having chapters with Aurora and Harry.

I don't own Harry Potter, the series belongs to J.K. Rowling. I only own Aurora and anything that's not in the books or movies.
