"He did what?!"

Hermione had just gotten back from a meeting with Harry, Luna Lovegood, and Rita Skeeter in Hogsmeade. Aurora didn't go, since she wanted to stay back to catch up on some homework. Upon the muggleborn's return, she informed the Lupin-Black that Harry was apparently on a date with Cho Chang during the beginning of the visit.

"Yep. Harry told me that the two of them went to Madam Puddifoot's," Hermione responded, nodding sadly. In all honestly, she and Ron both shipped Aurora and Harry, and thought it was only a matter of time before they started dating. Of course, this wouldn't happen since Harry was now canoodling with other girls.

"But- what?" Aurora spluttered in disbelief, "I didn't even know he liked her!"

"You're not upset, are you?" Hermione asked.

"No, of course not," Aurora responded, shaking her head profusely, "He can date whoever he wants to, it's not my business."

Hermione decided to let it go, even though she could tell that Aurora was negatively affected by this news.

"So, you're with Cho Chang?" Aurora asked the moment the Gryffinfour sat in the Great Hall for dinner.

The Potter boy immediately turned bright red, which Aurora rolled her eyes at, "Erm- no... yes? I guess so? I- I mean, we haven't really put a label on it or anything..."

Aurora huffed, while Ron and Hermione exchanged nervous glances. They couldn't have Remus and Sirius win the bet.

"You're not upset or anything, right? You're my friend, if the relationship between Cho and I is bothering you, I can break up with her," Harry offered.

Ouch, someone just got friend zoned.

"Of course not, it doesn't bother me. Like you said, whatever you have going on is between you and Cho. You're like a brother to me; I want you to be happy and if she makes you feel that way, that's fine."

Hermione and Ron would definitely be talking about this with each other later. It was clear that Aurora was not happy with Cho and Harry's relationship, and quite frankly, neither were the two friends.

The two laughed inside at the girl's jealousy.

I don't own Harry Potter. The series belongs to J.K. Rowling. I only own Aurora and anything you don't recognize from the books or movies.
