The Patronus lessons continued for a few more weeks, and soon it was nearing the next quidditch match. It was Gryffindor vs. Ravenclaw, and Oliver was having the team practice nearly every night. Aurora was getting stressed over everything, and snapped at people more often that usual.

That morning, Aurora got up very early and began getting dressed. Pierre wanted to meet her before the match, so she had to hurry up so she could have time to eat her breakfast. She quickly put on some jeans and a Gryffindor jumper- that may or may not have been one of Harry's that she 'borrowed'. She pulled up her hair and put some makeup on after washing her face.

She grabbed her bag which was about to break again with the amount of books held inside, and left her dorm and the Gryffindor common room. She walked along the deserted corridors quickly. Although she knew it was safe she couldn't help but think about the chance of Sirius Black being there.

As she turned the corner on her way to an empty classroom Pierre told them to meet in, she heard a, "Boo!"

Aurora couldn't help but let out a scream, not realizing it was her French friend. He quickly covered her mouth before she could wake other students up, or more importantly, teachers.

"You seem afraid," Pierre told her, removing his hand slowly. When Aurora denied, he raised an eyebrow, not believing her.

"Why did you want to see me? I could have gotten a couple more hours of beauty sleep," Aurora grumbled.

"I don't think you need more beauty sleep, you are already more than pretty enough," Pierre smirked, bringing her hand up to his lips, kissing it softly. Aurora was lucky that there wasn't much lighting in the room, or else Pierre would see her blush. "Anyway, I was just wondering how you were doing?"

Aurora sighed. This wasn't really what she was expecting when Pierre said he wanted to talk. "I'm not doing well, to be honest. I'm really getting stressed and scared about Sirius Black escaping and I'm worried that my friendship with Harry will cause it to be easier for Sirius Black to go after him."

Pierre was silent for a few minutes and Aurora got worried that he wouldn't want to be friends anymore when she thought that Sirius Black would go after her other friends just because of her relationship with them.

"If you're so afraid of Sirius Black getting to Harry and your other friends, maybe you shouldn't hang around with them. It's only for their safety."

Aurora thought about what he said, and he was right. Although Sirius Black would still probably go after Harry, there was a lower chance of him getting to them. She- as much as she didn't want to admit it- was his daughter and if Sirius Black knew who she was close to, he would try to hurt them in order to get to her.

"But what about you?" Aurora asked, concerned about his safety too.

"I'll be fine. We'll continue to mostly meet in secret like what we're already doing," Pierre replied. "After the quidditch match you should tell your friends that you don't want to be friends with them anymore."

"Can't I just-"

"It's for the best," Pierre said cutting her off. "If you just ignore them, they'll try to see why. IF you just tell them you can't be friends anymore, then they won't speak to you. Besides, you can always tell them why you did that when Sirius Black is captured."

As much as Aurora didn't want to, she agreed with Pierre. "I get what you're saying. I'm going to finish getting ready for the quidditch match," she said and left the classroom.

As Pierre watched her retreating figure, he smirked. Step one of his plan was complete.

I don't own Harry Potter. The series belongs to J.K. Rowling. I only own Aurora and anything you don't recognize from the books or movies.
