"Have a biscuit."

Those were the words Professor McGonagall uttered when Harry and Aurora walked into her office. Both students had an exasperated look on their faces and seemed upset.

"Now, please tell me how two of my best students ended up in trouble with the new professor," Professor McGonagall said calmly (the exact opposite of Dumbledore when Harry's name got pulled from the goblet of fire).

"She said Cedric's death was an accident," Harry answered after noticing Aurora seemed unable to speak, "and that Voldemort wasn't real."

"Professor Umbridge has- erm- different views than we do," the transfiguration teacher told them, taking off her classes and cleaning them with a cloth, "Sometimes others don't see the same things we do, and as your teacher, I have to tell you to be kind to her. If I wasn't in a professional setting right now I would say something else, but that is beside the point."

Aurora tried not to laugh at the image of a disheveled Professor McGonagall hastily saying some colorful language.

"The slips you two gave me says that you both have detention tomorrow night," the professor informed them, reading the pink pieces of paper, "As much as it pains me, I expect you both to attend. If you don't, I'm afraid the situation could be more dire."

Hermione was angry.

She had to spend the night prior stopping Fred and George from using the first years as test products, and now she learned that someone was stealing the hats she knitted for the house elves.

"I don't know why someone would do this!" she exclaimed. Ron seemed quiet, while Harry and Aurora were trying their best to comfort her (however, Harry was failing quite hilariously).

"I'll help you, Hermione," Aurora offered, "We can make some more tonight and this weekend, and maybe we could bring them to the kitchens to give them to the house elves directly. That way they won't get stolen by someone."

The girl gratefully agreed and the two began to work on it.

I don't own Harry Potter. The series belongs to J.K. Rowling. I only own Aurora and anything you don't recognize from the books or movies.
