"Severus? What's happening?" Lily asked worriedly.

"Why don't you ask him." he glared towards Sirius. "They've been reopening for weeks. Have you seriously not done anything about it?"

"What?" Sirius replied in shock. "She's my daughter, i'm pretty sure id notice if they had been."

"Mhm, they have." Cassie replied weakly. "Didn't want you to worry. It's not usually this bad."

Sirius was at a loss for words. She had been going through this, all this pain, and he had no idea.

"Wouldn't exactly describe it as good either you bloody idiot." Draco hissed, guilt ridden knowing where they were caused.

"Cassie why didn't you tell anyone?" Remus asked, watching the scene before him.

"I did!" she protested weakly. "Not my fault Snapes potions didn't work."

"They didn't work Severus?" Lily questioned, kneeled next to him to help.

"I have tried everything. The dark magic in the curses is reacting to her own blood. Her own body is attacking her from the inside."

"So that's why everything always hurts." Cassie hummed.

"Tell me you're not saying there's nothing you can do." Remus growled.

"Can I keep her painfully alive? Yes, for now. Can I heal this? No." Snape snapped.

"So what? She's going to die?" James asked in shock.

"I know you don't like me," Cassie winced in pain as Snape continued with his various remedies, "but can you like, not kill me. Please."

Sirius couldn't do anything but watch in fear. This couldn't be the reality. He couldn't be hearing that there was nothing that could be done. He couldn't lose Cassie, not again.
Something in him broke hearing his daughter beg not to die.

He marched back to the Orders meeting, reluctantly stepping away from his daughter's side.

"Out." he ordered. "Out!" he barked again, waiting for the majority of the room to apparate away.

"Mr Potter, Miss Granger, Mr Weasley take this port key back to Hogwarts. No objections." Mcgonagall instructed, waiting until they had done so. "Sirius what is going on?" she asked as only her and Dumbledore now remained.

"Where is Cassie's mother. Where is Khaleesi."

"You know better than anyone Sirius that nobody has seen her for over 15 years." Mcgonagall sympathized.

"But he knows, don't you." Sirius continued, stepping closer towards Dumbledore. "You sent her away, you made her leave her daughter!"

"It was for everyone's safety, Sirius. For Cassie's safety."

"Cassie's dying." Sirius admitted. "Whatever those bastards did to her, is killing her! It's been killing her ever since the moment we got her back."

"What do you mean Sirius?" Mcgonagall urged. "She was just here?"

"And now she's bleeding out down the fucking hall! Whatever they did, whatever they used, it's slowly killing here. Snape said there's nothing he can do to save her, there's nothing left that we can do. It's reacting with her blood and killing her from the inside out."
