The man Lucas hit got to his feet and joined his men with blood running from his forehead. They all eyed us down, still inching closer.

They separated, three going after the boys and two coming to grab my arms to pull me away.

Two went to Lucas, immediately attempting to restrain him but he was too fast for them, dodging their grasp and striking one in the gut, leaving him hunched over. Lucas quickly took advantage of his position and jerked his knee into the man's forehead, rendering him instantly unconscious. The second man rushed at him from behind and tackled him to the ground.

The single man taking on Winwin got the first few hits, punching him directly in the face causing his nose to bleed and his lip to bust open. But he soon gained traction, blocking a punch and twisting the man's arm behind his back, bringing him to his knees.

I could see the man fighting Lucas now had a knife in his clutches, and I witnessed his hands being sliced while he defended himself.

I tried to free myself from the men holding me, but they only gripped tighter on my arms as they slowly brought me to the railing of the ship.

My mind and heart racing, I had no idea what to do. There was nothing I could do, even if I somehow broke free. So, I did the first logical thing that my brain could conjure.

"Lei!" I screamed, knowing he would come and put an end to this.

One of the men holding me struck my head mid-scream with his fist and covered my mouth so no more noises could escape. I felt a warm liquid trailing down my forehead.

The other man at my side rushed over to the brawl, Lucas had knocked out his second opponent and now the two boys were pummeling the remaining sailor. Winwin was holding the man's arms while Lucas' fists rabbit punched his stomach.

Winwin let go in time to distract the man rushing at them while Lucas continued to fight the man before him. But despite how strong Lucas was, the man outweighed him and again knocked him onto his back. Now his face was receiving blows.

My stomach churned hearing each crack of their knuckles against each other's skulls.

Lei came rushing up the stairs, blood staining his clothes and coating his hands. He was immediately enraged and went straight for the man holding me. But instead of fighting him, Lei pulled out his pistol and aimed it at the man.

I shrieked and flinched, trying to turn away but the man had his grip tight around me. I feared Lei would miss and injure or kill me. But he stood there and waited for the man's response.

*C* "You let her go, you traitor. You are all traitors now I can see."

*C* "Lei, you are a fool! These people are tricking you and you are going to die, too!" The man inched me closer to the ledge with his palm still over my mouth.

He suddenly swung his arm around to retrieve his own gun from his belt and stuck the barrel against my temple, I let out a muffled screech and squeezed my eyes closed.

"No!" I heard Lucas' voice.

*C* "Let me throw them overboard. No witnesses, nothing. We can just pretend this didn't happen. They are liars, Lei. And they probably have those keys you're missing."
