I could now see Johnny in the kitchen getting a drink. His eyes widened more than I had ever seen before, and his mouth opened slightly.

"Jesus Christ." He exclaimed.

"He's gonna love it, girl." Genji continued to hype me up before rounding the corner to Lucas on the couch.

*C* "Lucas, you're gonna have to hold me back, man." Johnny teased him with a shake of his head.

I heard him laugh in response and he sat forward in his seat, anxious to see me.

I saw Winwin first on the couch and he had a grin plastered on his lips.

*C* "Stand down." Hua joked, standing at the end of the couch next to him she nudged his arm.

I took a deep breath and took the final step where Lucas would come into view.

My eyes went wide, I was just as shook as he probably was.

He was in a fancy gray business suit and had his hair slicked back like how Johnny would style his. His eyebrows rose and he bit his lip before blushing with a wide grin.

I almost wished no one was here so I could just leap onto him right now. I hadn't been with him for so long and he looked better than ever. His gorgeous plump lips were calling my name.

"Wow." He said.

He got to his feet, took me into his arms, and held me tightly.

He smelled like Johnny's cologne.

When we pulled away, our eyes glued to one another.

He let his lips grace mine, but only for a brief moment.

"Awwww." Mey exclaimed.

"You two are perfect together." Winwin said, looking proud.

"Well, thank you all for your help but I think it's time I steal her away." Lucas told them as he started leading me towards the door.

"You be careful with her!" Winwin called.

"Yeah, no funny business." Johnny joked with an Italian accent as he held the door open for us.

We all laughed and then proceeded out the door.

"Bye!" All the girls chanted at once.

We both thanked them again and said goodbye, headed to a car I hadn't noticed before right in Johnny's driveway. It was shiny, black, and looked vintage.

"This yours?" I asked.

He nodded proudly and opened the passenger door for me.

"I like it."

We got settled in, but he hadn't yet started the car. We just sat for a minute or two.

I didn't know why but I was nervous. Little did I know, he was too.

"So ... this is like ... our first date that's not on a boat." He said, breaking the silence.

I nodded and smiled.

"It is."

His eyes ran over every inch of me, and then met mine.

"Are you sure you wanna go out? We could just head to my place." He flirted, putting his arm around my seat.

"I'll do whatever you want." I giggled.

He shook his head, trying to snap himself out of his thoughts.

"I would, but something tells me we won't be going out alone."

His eyes were now focused behind me.

I was confused, but when I turned to see I understood.

Everyone was peeking through the windows and Johnny had his keys ready in his hand that was leaned against the glass.

When they noticed us looking, Winwin shoved his arm down, but we had already seen.

Were they going to follow us?

We started on our way, and I had another overwhelming feeling in my chest.

Everything was falling into place.

I looked over at Lucas driving and was taken aback.

He chose me.

I couldn't believe it, but it was real.

All the things we've been through were in the past and now we could move forward.
