Without delay, Lucas stepped in front of me and kept an arm tucked around my back.

After helping Hua to her feet and seeing her dust off her clothes, Winwin was now enraged and was on his way towards Biyu.

*C* "Who do you think you are, pushing over my girlfriend?" He asked angrily.

*C* "Men should never fight women but let me tell you if I was a girl, I'd smack you upside the head right now." He threatened her, his breathing heavy with anger.

I was surprised to hear something like that from him.

But then I remembered his hands clutching the rusty and dirt covered chains that were wrapped around Vince's throat.

When protecting the people he cared about, he was capable of much more than any of us could imagine.

And he was very protective of Hua.

Biyu ignored Winwin and kept her focus on us.

She had makeup streaming down her face. Her eyes puffed and red, even her lipstick was smeared.

I couldn't help but feel sympathy for her.

This was my doing.

*C* "How could you do this to me?" She cried to Lucas.

*C* "I'm sorry Biyu. This wasn't planned, alright?" He tried to calm her down.

Winwin just stood back with his arms crossed.

*C* "You took everything from me!" She yelled to me.

Lucas pushed me behind his back.

The staff finally started to notice after the crowd quieted down and someone was headed towards her now.

She panicked and rushed to Lucas.

*C* "No! No! No!" She started striking his chest with the sides of her fists.

He just stood there and didn't fight her back.

His arm was still around me and he held me close. So close I could feel each impact, his body slightly moving with each one.

Two men took her off of him and had her by her arms.

*C* "This was supposed to be mine! All of this!"

*C* "I'm sorry." Lucas repeated as she was dragged away.

Lucas turned to me and took me in his arms.

"I'm sorry, Zeda. I've never seen her behave this way before."

"It's not your fault." I said.

He tossed cash onto the table and put an arm around me.

"Can I take you back to my place?"

I of course agreed, and we headed for the door after we were sure Biyu was gone.

We passed the others, and they called out to us.

"Have a good night you two!" Hua said.

"Don't do anything I wouldn't do." Johnny joked, and we all let out a laugh.

*C* "Please don't follow us this time." Lucas joked and Winwin nudged him playfully.

We got back into his sleek car and headed out on the road.
