After that night we spent every day together that I had left in China, which was a week.
He brought me everywhere with him, and I never left his side.
Lucas took me to museums, parks and overall was trying to introduce me to their culture.
He took me out to eat at all of his and the boys' favorite places, we went on lots of walks and drives to nowhere, we hung out with Johnny and Winwin; and a few times Hua and the other girls joined us.
We even all went out to the club together as a group. Aside from the first night at Lucas's house, that was the best night there for me.
We had the perfect amount of people that we all partnered up and dancing with Lucas was heavenly.
He was funny, charming, sexy, and I felt on top of the world seeing all the eyes of women around us stuck on him, knowing he was mine and wasn't even batting an eye to a single one.
After that night Lucas and I realized every time we have a get together, we seem to drink, and we planned to start having more sober adventures.
We had another long and deep talk about everything, and we both decided we wanted to move in together unquestionably.
Not wanting to interrupt everything he had going for him here; I chose to be the one to leave home.
I had nothing anyway. I would be going back to square one there, living with my parents. Lucas had his job, house, friends and family even if they weren't on speaking terms.
Until I found a job, Lucas said he had more than enough money to support both of us. He offered it indefinitely, but I know eventually I'll need something to fill my free time.
After it was decided, Lucas had the idea to pick me up on another delivery, and we could sail back together.
I of course agreed and he started making phone calls and trying to arrange it.
One night I woke up in Lucas's bed alone, and instinctively, all the same thoughts rushed to my head as they did with Vince.
'Where is he? What is he doing? Did he leave?' I thought.
I slowly and silently got up, as was my old routine of this, and tiptoed around looking for him.
I first passed the bathroom and got flashbacks to the door being locked, hearing a woman's voice and then being told I'm going crazy and hearing voices. But the door was open, and it was empty.
I crept down the stairs, and I could see a faint light in the living room.
I couldn't help it, all my old anxieties flared, and my stomach churned, my heart began to pound, increasing its pace.
