Lucas sighed loudly and grabbed his phone. "Do you mind if I ..." He started to ask but paused, knowing they'd understand.
"Go ahead, man." Johnny said and gave him the number to call.
Chaz connected the phone to his computer and when it rang, Lucas put it on speaker phone and felt his heart begin to race.
It rang and rang but ... No answer.
Lucas saw the time; it was now after eleven pm.
"Maybe try again." Johnny said, noticing Lucas's discouragement.
He re-dialed it, and again, nothing. He sighed loudly with defeat.
"We can try again in the morning before we go, right Chaz?" Johnny asked, and Chaz nodded.
Lucas had a look of worry and distress plastered on his face.
"What if they don't answer again?" He asked.
"Then I guess I'll have to come with you guys." Chaz smiled.
He got to his feet and stretched. "You guys want anything to drink?"
They all declined.
"Wanna play some pool?" He asked.
"I'm down." Winwin said, trying to make up for their little debacle earlier, knowing now they might have to travel with him to find Zeda.
"You guys should at least come sit in here." Chaz said, leading Winwin into another room.
They obliged and followed.
The room again had nothing but the pool table and conveniently two chairs next to a large window. The two boys took their seats while Chaz and Winwin started setting up their game and chalking their cues.
"So, you are the boyfriend?" Chaz asked Lucas.

Lucas shrugged. "We didn't exactly break up but ... she left."
"Well, I hope there are no hard feelings when I steal her." Chaz smirked evilly.
Lucas looked at him with annoyance and anger.
"Alright, maybe we should go and get a few hours of shut eye before we hop on that plane." Johnny said, trying to calm them down and getting back to his feet.
"You guys can crash here if you want. Save some time." Chaz offered.
Johnny looked to the other two boys, Lucas being irate and Winwin actually seeming excited to play the game of pool.
