"Are you alright?" Lucas asked, and little did I know this was his third time repeating it. I didn't hear it in my trance. The Lucas in my head spoke louder than the one right in front of me.
I just replied with a nod and a close-mouthed smile, trying to focus on my breathing.
I was looking out to the ocean, trying to distract myself by thinking of the beautiful day we were lucky enough to have on our big day. Not too hot or too cold.
"You look gorgeous, Miss Zeda." Lucas reached a hand out to hold mine.
My anxiety and the strain on my thoughts from my episode a few moments ago had my mind in a fog. I tried to make a joke but completely failed,
"You look very handsome, Mr. Lucas."
I whispered it for his ears only, but he still burst into laughter and quickly shifted his face away, covering it with his palms as it began to turn red.
"Zeda ... what the hell." He continued to chuckle.
I had never said that before and have no idea why I decided to say it at the altar of all times. I couldn't help but crack a smile, and I was worried I ruined the seriousness of everything.
Johnny left his place behind Lucas and awkwardly walked back down the red carpet to the very end, and then turned around, heading right back to us; He was also the ring bearer.

Almost everyone let out little giggles and chuckles at the oddness of everything we were doing. This was a very strange ceremony. We didn't even have a wedding officiant, but that was mainly because we were already legally married, and neither of us were religious. We didn't need anyone to tell us what to say to each other.
Johnny held a single box in the center of his cupped hands and bowed his head as he lifted it up for Lucas to take.
