We woke up at about sunrise, and all went up to the deck together and watched the land grow closer and closer. Lucas held me tightly, and the two boys were near us, leaning over the front rails.
As everything got closer, we saw other ships unloading their hauls and business seemed to be as usual, until I saw a cluster of cars that turned out to be police cars without their lights flashing. I gasped and everyone looked shocked.
"No fucking way, man." Johnny shook his head.
"They could be for someone else." Winwin tried to comfort everyone.
"How would they know what our ship looked like? Or what dock we would be porting at?" Johnny questioned.
Lucas stared at the men standing on the docks pacing around, not saying a word. He looked really nervous.
"We did nothing wrong. We have nothing to be worried about." I said, and Lucas nodded in response.
"You're right." Winwin said, standing up right and coming closer to Lucas and I, still wrapped in each other's arms.
Johnny remained leaned over the side and ran his hands through his hair, pushing it back out of his face.

The men in police uniforms were all looking at us, pointing, and then a bunch more ran down the hill behind them and were on the dock ... right where we were headed ... waiting for us.
My heart was pounding, and I felt like I could be sick. And then... I saw him. The demon that caused all of this.
Vince was standing on the dock, off to the side but looking out to the water.
My fists clenched and I gritted my teeth.
"It's him." I said.
The boys seemed to get more nervous, and Johnny joined the rest of us standing together.
We all looked at each other, all scared of the events that could follow.
