Zeda and Lucas lay awake whispering to each other for hours. He held her tightly but carefully so as to not hurt her. She told him about her visions and he relayed how he and the boys arrived there, to that nasty old barn.

"Miss Zeda, I want you to know, I was not unfaithful to you." Lucas whispered into her ear, laying behind her.

She kissed his arm that was wrapped around her, as her way of saying it was okay.

"I was so worried about you." He said. "Are you okay?"

"Yes."

"Does it hurt?"

"Yes. Very badly. It burns." She admitted.

They slowly fell asleep in each other's arms.

Unfortunately, they were woken early in the morning by Vince.

"Rise and Shine, Losers." He yelled, slamming the door behind himself.

Everyone sat up, except Zeda, who groaned trying to move. She felt a heat in her stomach she had never felt before, and it was slowly spreading to her legs.

"Are you okay?" Lucas asked her, still sitting next to her.

"Get away from her." Vince demanded.

Lucas stayed in place and glared at him.

"You're taking her to a hospital, right?" Johnny chimed in.

"Why would I do that? She's fine, she's just being dramatic." He said, setting a bag down in his hands. "I brought you some food." He smirked. "I don't want you all to die just yet."

The boys all looked at him angrily. They knew if they could reach him, they could easily overpower him. Zeda scooted herself a few inches back to the wall and sat with her back against it, groaning.

"What did you bring?" She asked, panting.

Fresh blood was soaking the little bit of shirt that covered her stomach. Moving around after laying still for so long must have reopened something that had just tried to begin to heal.

"Nothing for you. We're going to your parents." He told her.

"You're telling me you're going to take her exactly as she is now?" Johnny asked.

"Of course not. I'm not stupid. I'm going to get her new clothes, some pain killers and take her to the salon."

"Dude, she needs stitches. And her wounds need to be cleaned." Johnny said.

Vince stared at Zeda, now seeing the fresh blood.

He sighed. "There's no way. It was just a wooden door. She's fine, she's still alive."

Zeda shifted, trying to sit upright, exposing more of her wounds and Vince cringed.

"Ugh, can't you just fix it, Mr. Doctor?" Vince asked.

"No, I can't." He told him.

"And even if I could, I would not do it here, in this ..." He looked around him. "This filthy barn." He said.

Vince sighed loudly and rubbed his temples. "Fine, we'll take the bitch to the damn doctor."

Lucas felt his blood boiling and clenched his fists. He had been trying to hold himself back but just couldn't take it anymore.

This man had caused so much pain to Zeda and now his friends too and he was done standing around and letting it happen. It was time to fight.

Vince just sat rubbing his head, meanwhile Lucas got himself to his feet and then quickly attempted to lunge at him, going at him with full strength and rage. But Vince noticed and backed himself against the door, leaving Lucas to be tugged violently by his chains when at their ends.

Lucas yelled loudly at him and tried to break free from the chain around his wrist, pulling at it and throwing his arm around and grunting. Vince was considering running out the door.

"Lucas, hey." Johnny stepped in, standing up and trying to calm him down.

*C* "No! I want to kill him!"

Vince was frightened but thankful his chains didn't budge as Lucas pulled at it with all his strength. His heart was racing, but he played it off with a smirk and a laugh through his nose.

"Yeah, calm down there, big guy." He taunted Lucas.

*C* "We'll get him, okay?" Johnny reassured him.

*C* "But if he's gonna help Zeda, we need to get her there asap."

They looked to her, still against the wall with her head slumped back, breathing heavily and sweating, clutching her stomach that oozed blood.

"So can you two sit your asses down and behave so I can get her out of here?" Vince questioned them still standing in the middle of the barn.

They sighed and went back to their spots.

"I mean it, you try anything, and I leave her here." He threatened them.

He walked over to her slowly, ready for any of the guys to attack, but no one did. He picked her up into his arms and she groaned loudly.

"You be careful with her!" Lucas called.

Vince just laughed.

"Lucas." Zeda called as Vince opened the door.

But he quickly slammed it and locked it, leaving the boys alone again.
