Would seriously die for feedback on this ... I'm so terrible at endings. I've only ever finished one story in my entire life of writing .... well .... I guess two stories now.

Thanks to everyone who read all the way through! Would love to chat with you and read your work too!

Just for my own notes, I'm posting this on 10/30/22 at 10pm ...

Can't believe this story is over ... I love these characters so much. Please leave me your thoughts.

Looking back, I realized we could have used Chaz as the ring bearer to avoid the awkward walk Johnny had to endure, but I didn't know he was coming until it was too late to change the plans.

After the applause everyone exchanged loving and tearful hugs, and then helped re-organize the deck, changing the chairs from rows to surrounding tables, and making room for a dance floor near the DJ's booth and the bar Chaz was tending to.

We all ate together, and then were dispersed around the deck, some at tables, some standing around, some leaning on the railings and chatting.

I decided to pay Chaz a visit first to say hello and to get some alcohol to calm my nerves.

"Hey, I didn't know you were coming!" I told him as I approached.

"Yeah, well, I didn't know picking you up included getting chained to a cement floor in a barn in fucking Michigan but ... here we are." He sassed, "What can I get for you?"

I had to admit, he was very witty.

"Yeah, nice to see you too, Chaz. Make me a 'sex on the beach'." I said, and then turned my back to him. I wasn't going to let him bring me down one single notch. I was still on top of the world. I hoped the feeling would never fade.

I looked for Lucas to see what he was doing.
