After being casted to the sea, thrown off the cruise ship she was on by her own boyfriend, what Zeda thought was her biggest problem turns out to be only the beginning. She's rescued by a foreign man, Lucas, & his two friends Johnny & Winwin. Togeth...
The guys moved to the living room to sit down and cracked open a bottle of liquor.
It had been probably about an hour since the call, and they all sat there watching tv and taking down a few glasses.
"What do we do we do .... Fly out there?" Lucas asked, sitting up abruptly.
"I mean... Do you want to help her? I thought you were all set to go home and marry Biyu." Johnny said.
"That picture really hurt, Johnny. I'd love to see how you'd react to that. I feel like I have given up."
"Well, I don't know about you, but I feel guilty as hell sitting here on my ass after hearing that from her." Johnny said.
Lucas frowned and looked down at his drink.
"Johnny you .... You have no idea."
"Enlighten me, Lucas. Talking about it could really help you."
Lucas sighed, and there was a long while of silence.
Winwin had been downing his drinks faster than the others and was a bit tipsy.
He was lying flat on the couch with his face against the seat of it.
"Lucas, tell me something." He said, lifting his head enough to speak.
"What?"
"What's it like?"
"What is what like?"
Winwin let out a drunken sigh.
"What is it like to be in love?"

Lucas sighed silently to himself, flashes of her face and her smile running through his mind. He tried to speak but had a lump in his throat and had to clear it. He shook his head, trying to shake it off.
"It's uh ... it's complicated, Winwin. I don't think you guys will understand until you feel it yourself."
When he thought of her, he felt that same tingling in his heart that she felt herself when he came to her mind. The feeling flooded his veins, and his eyes were blurry with tears before even speaking a word.
With one hand on his drink, his other remained in his pocket, clutching the box that held the ring he picked out for her.
"I am sure it is different for everyone." Lucas's voice broke as he spoke, and the intensity and gravel in his tone had the boys taken aback.
"For me it has ... consumed me." He spoke slowly.
