It was September 1st, which granted me the joy of being able to relax into the plush seats of the Hogwarts Express. The train was gently rocking from side to side and endless scenery rolled past.

Pansy, Daphne, Millicent and Tracey all shared the compartment with me, each in their own little worlds. At least until Daphne snapped the Daily Prophet open and lifted it up. "Thirteen years?" She exclaimed. "Can you believe it? Thirteen years since the Dark Mark was last sighted."

"Yeah, we'll let's all just hold hands and hope nothing else happens." Tracey said, peering over Daphne's shoulder at the Prophet. "Because I did not sign up for this."

The rest of us all chuckled at Tracey's comment, though it was true. Trouble with dark wizards is the last thing anyone needed.

"Well, if anything does happen." Pansy said, "Let's cross our fingers and hope it's before we take our O.W.Ls."

Again, everyone laughed.

"Oh, don't even remind me." Millicent kicked up her feet and groaned. "We only have a year before we have to take them and I swear I'm expected a Troll in nearly everything."

"Don't be dramatic, Milli." I placed a hand on top of hers and smiled. "I'm sure you'll be able to get a P."

"A P?" Millicent gasped before she playfully whacked me in my side. "You cheeky bugger!"

We all begun to laugh, but our joy was cut short when the compartment door rattled. Everyone looked over, and there was a couple of soft scoffs when we saw Malfoy standing outside. He stared at me through the window and pointed towards the door.

I hesitated briefly, but at last, stood up and slid the door open. "Don't be rude," I frowned, my arms crossed around my chest. "We were in middle of a conversation."

"Your conversation can wait." Malfoy said coolly. "My friends want to see you."

"Why?" I frowned.

"Because," Malfoy shrugged. "Just come."

I looked over my shoulder at all of the girls whom were listening to our conversation. Each and every single one of them nodded. "Fine," I sighed, stepping out of the compartment. The door slid shut behind me and I followed Malfoy down the narrow corridors.

"I hope you know I'm only coming because I owe you."

"Owe me?" Malfoy glanced over his shoulder. "For what?"

I shrugged, "I dunno. Saving my life last week."

There was a tiny smirk on Malfoy's face. "Thought I might deserve a little more than you coming to see my friends."

"Well, you said no more hugs." I grinned back. "So, I suppose that's out of the picture."

"Whaat?" Malfoy raised his eyebrows, his voice teasing. "I don't remember saying that."

"Mm, I bet you don't." I too teased. Malfoy smirked at me before he slid the door to a compartment at the end of the hall open. I peered over his shoulder and saw Crabbe, Goyle and Blaise Zabini staring at us.

"There she iss," Blaise Zabini grinned.

"Shift," Malfoy slid inside, staring at Crabbe. Crabbe frowned but nonetheless, stood up and moved next to Goyle. Malfoy sat down in the spot Crabbe had been seconds ago, and pat the empty space beside him. "Come, sit."
