To say the Weasley family felt devastated was beyond an understatement.
Now being without a home, Remus and Tonks were kind enough to allow the family to stay in their accommodation until they managed to recover their belongings and rebuild their home.
Their house was surprisingly big and held many spare guest rooms, making Draco and I
fortunate enough to have our own private room together without risks of anyone else disturbing us.The guest room was fairly sized and held everything that your average person would need. A double bed, a desk, a dresser, a window, and a bathroom.
My mind was occupied by the incident that must've happened only half an hour ago, staring quietly out the window at the field of grass that wavered gently in the wind. However it didn't take long for a sharp gasp to draw me out of my thoughts.
"What the hell—!" Draco exclaimed, eyes widened in concern as he looked down at where I sat, a wave of confusion washing over me.
"Wha—,"
"You're injured!" Draco carefully wraps his hand around my leg, slowly lifting it up to get a better look at the bloody wound lacerated deep into my skin. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"I don't know—," I whisper softly, watching as he gently wipes some of the blood off with his finger, the tip now stained red.
"Y/N..." Draco murmurs, eyes glistening with both worry and care as they glaze over the wound. "Come on, we need to get you cleaned up. We don't want that to get infected."
"Draco—," I try to reason with him, noticing the urgency in his tone. "I'll be fine... it's just a scratch."
"Just a scratch?!" Draco scoffed in disbelief, "Y/N, I love you, I really do, but are you mental? Look at you! Of course you won't be fine, your all muddy and Merlin knows what sort of bacteria is lingering in that."
I drew out a long sigh, knowing there was no point in arguing considering Draco had grabbed my hands in his before I even got the chance to open my mouth, dragging me forward.
"Let's get you in a nice warm shower, my love." Draco insists, heading towards a white door that nearly blended in with the walls, his hand finding its way around the handle. When he pushed it open, it revealed a fairly big, modernised bathroom. Countertops made of marble and tiles sleek as glass.
Before I could let out a word of protest, Draco gathered me in his arms, and set me down on top of the bathroom counter. I let out a soft sigh of relief while he rested his head against my own, his fingers slowly running over my arms, chest, legs, and thighs, all while trying to detect anymore injuries on my body before pressing a soft kiss against my cheek.
Draco's hands moved to my front and gently lifted my muddy shirt from my shoulders, standing in between my legs as he searched for more injuries. His fingers gently grazed over a few scratches along my torso from where my clothes had torn, and muttered quiet incantations under his breath while pressing soft open mouth kisses against my skin.
My arms found themselves wrapped tightly around his neck, fingers gently playing with the soft tufts of hair on the nape of his neck as he continued to find things to heal.
Draco's hands slowly moved down along my waist, fingertips slowly sliding beneath the waistband of my muddy bed shorts as he removed them. I let them fall to my ankles before kicking them off, head lolling back as his lips moved carefully along the inside of my neck— discreetly reaching for his wand on the counter.
