"You guys were finally starting to get along," I sighed as I gently massaged a soothing cream around Draco's bruises. "And here we are, back at square one."

"I'm sorry," Draco groaned through his teeth. "I didn't mean to— I just—,"

"Lost control, I know." I breathed. The bruises along Draco's ribcage were by far the worst, and tender to the touch. "I'll talk to Harry in the morning."

Draco peered over his shoulder, eye narrowed. "What? Why?"

"Well, we'll have to find some way for you to make it up." I said, squeezing more cream into my palm before pushing it around his back. "Make it up?" Draco scoffed in disbelief. "They were the ones who attacked me!"

"You made fun of their mother!" I scowled. "Who mind you, has helped me a lot over the past few years. The last thing I need is my boyfriend to go ahead and shame her for it."

Draco went quiet for a moment. "Still," he huffed and puffed. "I'm the one who got jumped."

All of the sudden, a thought sprung to my mind. I looked up and stared at Draco in our reflections. "Wait..."

"PROCLAMATION. Educational Decree. No. 98. Those wishing to join the Inquisitorial Squad for extra credit may sign up in the high inquisitor's office."

Draco tilted his head, confused. "Why would I want to sign up for that rubbish?"

I rolled my eyes and took him by the wrist. "Okay then," Draco murmured as I pulled him around the corner.

"Umbridge knows about your fight with Harry." I explained, "And she also knows that Harry is up to something. Which creates the perfect recipe for us."

"How so?"

"You can be a double-agent." I beamed. "Sign up for the Inquisitoral Squad, then on the sly you can report back to us. That way you're, A. Doing us a favour and B. Making it up to Fred, George and Harry."

Draco groaned. "Why does this always happen to me?"

"Because you're an arse, Draco Malfoy."

"Diminuendo!"

Nigel slashed his wand through the air, what caused the approaching target to shrink into an object no bigger than a rat.

"Nice one, Nigel!" I beamed, extending my palm. Nigel gave me a giddy high-five. The chatter in the room died down when the wall which had been sealed only moments ago started to part.

Tension filled the room as Draco stepped inside, his hands in his pockets.

I, however, approached him with a big smile on my face. "Did you do it?" I asked, searching his face for an answer. Draco dipped his head and pointed at the badge which had been clipped to his robe.

"Soo... does this mean I can stay?" He asked.

I glanced over my shoulder. Fred came up from behind me and grabbed a handful of my robe. "As long as there's less of the smooching, you can stay."
