"You will please copy the approved text four times to ensure maximum retention. There will be no need to talk."
The sound of Umbridge's voice felt like someone was drilling a hole into my skull.
"No need to thinks more like it." I murmured, dragging the end of my quill across my blank sheet of parchment. "Second that," Draco scoffed, glancing at his unopened textbook.
Defence Against the Dark Arts was undoubtedly the worst part of everyone's day.
Draco slid a hand across my thigh from under the table and gently squeezed it. I looked over at him with a questioning look in my eyes. He looked to the front of the classroom to confirm Umbridge wasn't paying attention before he tapped his lips, signalling he wanted a kiss.
"I gave you one before class." I frowned.
"Well, I want another." Draco gave me a faux pout. "Please."
I rolled my eyes and double checked the coast was clear. Then, I leaned into Draco and let his expensive cologne infiltrate my senses as I pressed my lips against his. He gently kissed me back, and the taste of mint tickled the tip of my tongue as I pulled away.
Umbridge's footsteps started to approach our side of the room, so I looked down and pretended to take interest in the pot of ink beside me. Draco chuckled softly to himself and shook his head.
But again, he squeezed my thigh under the table. I glanced at him from the side of my eye, but he was writing with his free hand; looking as though he was focused. That for me, however, wasn't the case; because he began to gently rub along my thigh.
Umbridge's footsteps started to retreat.
Draco finally set his quill down and leaned into my ear. "Can we hang out tonight?"
As much as I wanted to say yes, I shook my head. Draco took his hand off my thigh and tilted his head. "Why not?" He asked.
"I have a couple things I need to sort out."
"You said that last night." Draco frowned.
"Okay, well I didn't get them done."
"If it's that important then let me help." Draco probed.
"You can't, it's independent." I lied.
Draco's brows drew into a thin line. There was suspicion in his gaze, I could see it. The two of us, we came as a package deal. Wherever Draco was, I was. Wherever I was, Draco was— or at least he wasn't far behind, and most likely had an eye out.
"Okay."

I slung my bag over my shoulder and made my way up to the seventh floor corridor. It was quiet at this time, so I was confident I wasn't going to have a run in with anybody. But as I stood in front of the wall and watched the door started to appear, a voice shocked me from my thoughts.
"Well, well, well." Draco crept out of the shadowy hall behind me. "Looks like Miss L/N has been feeding me lies." He said, looking around. "The library is on the third floor, sweetheart."
"I didn't say I was working in the library."
"But you have said that you don't like working anywhere but the library." Draco pointed out. I opened my mouth to speak but he cut me off— "Ah, not another word." He said, glancing at the door behind my head.
