"Blaise, turn up the radio."
Blaise, who was sat in front of the fireplace, turned up the radio; which crackled a little as he did so.
"Security has been and will remain the Ministry's top priority. Furthermore, we have convincing evidence that these disappearances are the work of notorious mass murderer Sirius Black."
"That's ridiculous." I scoffed, throwing my head back against the cushion behind me. "Hardly," Blaise said, looking over at me. "Ever since he escaped Azkaban the worlds been a mess."
My nostrils flared and I stared at Blaise in hard silence.
"Draco, tell him to shut up before I explode."
Draco's arm was around my shoulder, but he didn't once glance up from his book. "Blaise, shut up."
"You don't even know what we're talking about." Blaise narrowed his eyes.
"Don't want to know, and don't care either." Draco flicked to the next page. "Just shut up."
"Why?"
"Because Y/N said so."
"Exactly, because I said so." I smirked victoriously at Blaise.
"Hate to interrupt the bickering," Pansy said, slumping down into the sofa beside me. She extended a slip of parchment. "But I got a note for you, Miss L/N."
"From who?" I asked curiously, taking it from her between her fingers.
"Weasley. He stopped by."
"Which one?" Draco asked, looking up from his book this time.
"Ronnekins," Pansy pretended to swoon.
I could feel Draco's eyes burning into me as I pulled the note open.
"Gryffindor Common Room, tomorrow. 12 PM."
"What does it say?" Draco asked curiously.
"Nothing important." I lied. "Something about Fred wanting a tester for one of his new products."
"Does he pay the participants?" Blaise looked up from the fireplace, intrigued.
