"I'll be back after dinner."
"Are you sure I can't come with you?" Draco asked, his fingers interlocked with mine, that way every time I tried to pull away I had no choice but to keep coming back.
"I'm sure." I sighed. "I'll only be there for a few hours. I hear things haven't been going too well for the others this summer."
"She's right, Draco." Narcissa's voice emitted from the doorway. "There's been talk recently. You're not going to be doing yourself a favour if you go."
"I won't be mean." Draco frowned.
Narcissa and I both gave him a stink eye.
"Okay, fine. I'll drop it." Draco flopped back onto the bed. "Have fun," he lifted a hand and waved at me from the bed. I rolled my eyes.
"So dramatic." I murmured to Narcissa. She defensively raised her hands and shook her head— "Hey, don't look at me. He gets it from his father."
"Hey!" We heard Draco say just before Narcissa closed the door on him.
"Now." Narcissa brushed her hands off, "Let's get you some Floo powder."

After a sharp tug on my navel, and a solid five seconds of gut-wrenching pain, I stood lone; my chest wheezing and my throat pulsating. I could barely concentrate on the faint laughter around me as I stumbled out of the fireplace, coughing up dust.
"Y/N," said one voice.
"L/N," said the other.
I shook my head and rubbed my eyes. The faint laughter became more distinguishable, and those iconic, flaming red-heads started to make sense. "Of course," I half-laughed, half-coughed. "Fred and George."
"Greg and Forge." Fred corrected with a wink and a smile.
I rolled my eyes, and fortunately, Molly came to my rescue as she scurried into the living room. "Oh, sweetheart! You're here!"
"Oh god, she's here." Teased another voice. Ron stepped out from behind Molly. I rolled my eyes and pushed him out of the way so I could give Molly a hug.
"How's your summer been?" I asked Molly when I pulled away.
"Oh, you know. Just the usual with these boys." Molly puffed out a comical cheek. "Except for Harry, of course." Ron added. "But we'll get into that upstairs."
"Do I want to know?" I groaned.
"Of course you do, your Y/N L/N." Ron said, tugging on my wrist.
True.
I followed Ron up a flight of old, creaky stairs until we got to a door which was already half-open. I could see Harry sat on the edge of a bed, waiting. "Hazza P," I stepped into the room, a cocky smile on my face.
Harry's face brightened.
"Y/N L/N," Harry got up from the bed and embraced me into a warm hug. "Are you going to tell me what's going on?" I asked when we pulled away, "I hear it's been a pretty hectic summer."
