At last, the day of the Second Task had arrived.

It was still early in the morning when Draco woke me up, his lips travelling down my neck. "Dracooo..." I mumbled softly, the warmth of his touch sending shivers through my spine.

"Y/NNN..." Draco mimicked. He pulled back and gently took a couple hairs out of my face while my eyes still struggled to open. "Good moorning," he cooed.

"Morning," I whisper tiredly. I gently cupped either side of Draco's face in my hands, craving the warmth of his skin against mine. Draco looked down at me with those gorgeous, silver eyes; a soft smile on his face. He wrapped his arms around my back and hugged me close to him.

An overwhelming sense of adoration washed over me. I could feel him smiling as he nuzzled his head into the crook of my neck. He's so precious...

I turned my head and pressed a gentle kiss against the side of his face. Draco's front teeth pressed into my skin as his smile widened. We stayed like that for a little while, but eventually, we both had to get up.

I climbed out of bed and tip-toed across the Cole floor. I pulled my set of draws open and scanned the choice of clothing I had available. Considering it's February, dressing like a stripper probably isn't the best idea.

I grabbed a white jumper from inside and a pair of cotton leggings to go with it. After I went into the bathroom and changed, I curled my lashes; coated them in a layer of mascara, dabbed a tad bit of soft, pink blush onto my cheeks and added a final touch of lipgloss.

"I can't wait for today." Draco said, bobbing on the balls of his feet as he ran a couple fingers through his hair. "I nearly got to see Potter turn into toast in the last task."

"Oh, we know." I said, looking over at him. "You talked about it for a solid week."

Draco simply shrugged.

He pulled his gloves over his hands before he reached for my wrist and pulled me out. We walked through the stairwell, hand in hand. By the time we got to the bottom, Pansy, Millicent and the others were already there; and all took the opportunity to warm in front of the fire.

"Morning, gorgeous." Pansy said to me from over her shoulder.

"Morning, Pans." I grinned, approaching her from behind. I wrapped both of my arms around her neck and pecked the side of her head. Draco watched from a distance, his gaze on me and me only.
