Rays of sunlight seeped through the crack in our bedroom curtains. As the sun climbed higher into the sky, a golden glow expanded across the side of my face and caused my eyes to slowly open.

I lifted my head from the pillow beneath and yawned. Across the room, Malfoy was rummaging through a pile of clothes. "Why is it that you're always up so early?" I asked, slowly sitting upright. Malfoy looked over his shoulder at where I sat, rubbing a clenched fist over my eye.

"Morning, trouble." He grinned. "And for your information, it's called having a schedule. A concept your still yet to learn."

"Yeah, yeah..." I mumbled sleepily, dropping back into the bed. "Wake me up five minutes before class."

Malfoy rolled his eyes and approached the side of our bed. "You are NOT going back to sleep." He said, wrenching the bed duvets from my body. I glanced over at him and frowned. "Don't tell me what to do," I hissed, trying to snatch the covers back from him; yet the grip he held on them only tightened.

"Oh yeah?" He lifted a brow. "Who said I can't?"

"Me."

Malfoy smirked. "Who knew sleeping beauty could be so feisty?"

"You know what," I said, letting go of the duvets. "Suddenly, I don't want to sleep anymore." I grumbled, jumping down from the side of the bed. Malfoy watched me disappear into the bathroom and smirked.

"Well that was easy."

When I came out of the bathroom, fully dressed in my uniform with an exception of my tie, Malfoy still looked relatively pleased with himself. He too was fully dressed and had already made the bed.

I stood in front of the mirror and looped my tie around my neck, but before I could actually fix it into place, Malfoy came up from behind. He looked at me through the mirror and pushed my hands aside.

"What're you doing?"

"Allow me," Malfoy said before I could push him away. "Since I didn't allow you to sleep-in, consider this... an apology."

"Fine," I dropped my shoulders and relaxed. "Knock yourself out."

Malfoy grinned at me through the mirror. He gently pushed my hair to the side before he fastened the satin tie around my neck. I tried my very best to not flush at the gesture. Instead, I met his reflections gaze and glared.
