A few of the adults were still lingering in the living room long after dinner, and Draco had quickly snuck us past so we could go into the kitchen. The original plan was to make some hot chocolate before bed, but we were met with a much different situation.
Draco quietly shut the door after him, wincing slightly when it made a sharp click. 'I think we did it...' he whispers softly, letting out a massive sigh of relief.
'Draco, Y/N!' A voice suddenly beams, 'Hello, my lovelies! I wasn't expecting to see you two still up.'
Draco almost shit himself on the spot and whipped around to see Molly standing by the kitchen window, a warm mug clutched in her hand as she casually stirred a teaspoon around the cup of tea in smooth circles.
'Oh— hi Molly...' I smile softly, shaking off the small fright I got. 'We didn't mean to disturb you— we just—...'
'Oh, don't worry about it, dears.' Molly shakes her head, laughing lightly. 'Do you mind bringing this cuppa to Arthur? I think he's gone off to the storage room, I'll brew some more tea for you two if you wish.'
'Of course!' I carefully accept the warm mug from her hands, a tiny smile creeping up on my face. 'Also yes— that would be nice.'
'Great. I'll come find you in a few minutes, now off you two go, don't let it get cold!' Molly beams cheerily, ushering Draco and I out of the kitchen— leaving us to just stand there for a few moments in silence.
'The storage room it is...' I sigh, walking off throughout the Burrow as steam leaked from the tea, slipping through the slim crevices in between my fingers

I almost coughed up my lungs the second we entered the dusty room, forcing my eyes into a squint as they adjust to the everlasting gloom. It was filled with a range of peculiar objects, each one different from the last. They were all cluttered quite close together, especially considering it was such a small room.
Arthur was stood amidst it all, and turned with a smile when he saw us. Except Harry was with him too.
'Oh hello, Y/N, Draco.' Arthur nods politely, his eyes glittering when he saw me approach him with the cup of tea.
'Molly told me to give this to you...' I said softly, carefully passing him the warm mug which he was grateful to accept.
'Thank you very much, Y/N. That's very kind of you and Molly.' Arthur coos, turning to look at Harry for a moment. 'Harry was just talking about you and Draco.'
'Was he?'
'I was only explaining what we saw the night of Slughorn's party.' Harry quickly intervenes, refusing to look at Draco who had now raised his eyebrows.
'Your not still waffling on about that, are you?' Draco sighed, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed around his chest.
Harry ignores him, and immediately changes the conversation. 'Anyways, I forgot to ask... are you all right, Mr. Weasley? You and Molly.'
Arthur sighs deeply, clutching his mug a little tighter. 'It's... difficult. We're being followed, all of us. Most days Molly doesn't leave the house. It's not been easy.'
