It was easy to say that nothing was going to slip past Draco anymore.
Not even a second had passed since I sat down, and Draco had already bombarded my plate with a load full of breakfast, a meal I was never even fond of to begin with.
"Draco— I am not going to eat all of that—,"
"Yes you absolutely are." Draco replied stubbornly, grabbing a pitcher full of water. I narrow my eyes at the side of his face, watching him pour me a glass of water while purposely ignoring my gaze. "You'll need lots of this too— eight glasses a day— nothing less,"
"Draco, calm down—,"
"Oh! And don't even think about skipping lunch or dinner because I will force—,"
"Draco!" A new voice interrupted. Fortunately, Draco stopped his rambling and turned around to see Harry, Ron and Hermione all standing over us.
"Happy birthday, knobhead." Ron pat him on his shoulder, meanwhile Harry took a step forward and dropped a bag full of sweets onto the table next to us.
"Happy birthday, nutter." Harry grinned while Draco grabbed the bag of full of sweets, noticing how they were all his favourites.
"How did you—?"
Everyones gazed turned to me.
Draco followed their stares and noticed the guilty look on my face. "Of course," his face softened. He reached out and shook both Ron and Harry's hands, muttering a grateful "Thank you" to them both.
The three Gryffindors turned on their heels to leave after several minutes of chatting, and when they did Draco turned back to me when his eyes lit up in remembrance, "Oh yeah! So where were we?"
Needless to say, he rambled for the rest of breakfast while I slowly hummed and nodded with every spoonful I ate.

Draco opened the door and rushed ahead of me the second we walked into class, making sure he could pull out my chair for me before I sat down.
He had a cheesy smile on his face and I couldn't help but grin in adoration.
"Aren't you a gentlemen?" I whispered playfully when brushing past him, his hand on the back of my seat to keep it stable while I sunk down into it.
"Only the finest." Draco joked, finally taking his own seat besides me. Now, on a normal day sitting in the back of the classroom had its privileges, especially when it came down to not only sharing answers, but the cheeky kisses here and there too. But today, Draco took it to another level because he really couldn't keep his hands off me.
His hand, cold and littered with veins and rings, was essentially glued to my thigh. Every time I remotely moved a muscle, his grip tightened, mostly as a sign that he wanted to keep it there.
Not only that but when Professor Binns turned his back to the board in the midst of another tangent during A History of Magic, Draco would bury his face into the side of my neck and smother gentle, ticklish kisses all the way down to my collarbones, and then back up to my jaw.
Sometimes I'd have to press the palm of my hand over my mouth, trying to stifle the giggles that came with, meanwhile Draco grinned proudly to himself. He wondered if our baby would have my laugh...
"Y/N..." Draco murmured, his warm, minty breath ghosting across the side of my face as he dragged his lips up to my ear.
"Dracooo..." I whisper back, turning my head to the side so our eyes could meet. The corner of his lips twitched when they did.
"Can I tell you something?" He asked, a smirk on his face.
"Go for it." I hum, smiling softly. The smirk on his face expanded when I reached towards him, cupping the side of his face to stroke my thumb across his cheek.
"I've been thinking..." He started—
"Ooh, thats dangerous." I tease, making him narrow his eyes playfully at me. "Cheeky," He muttered before continuing.
"As I was saying, I was thinking that over the summer we should find somewhere... just me and you. After all, with the war on the rise and us being close knitted with Potter, it might be best if we just distance ourselves for a bit... lay down low until the worst has passed. Our circumstances have changed, I can't risk having You-Know-Who become a bigger threat to our lives when we've got a little one on the way, y'know?"
I tilt my head, looking at him with narrowed eyes. "You don't mean like... leave everyone else behind... do you?"
Draco hesitated. "Sort of. Only temporary though, of course."
I frowned a little. "Draco, you're asking a lot of me."
"I'm just concerned about yours and the babies safety—," Based on the look on my face, he quickly trailed off and stopped talking altogether. He looked between my eyes and lips and finally sighed, muttering a quick, "Sorry..."
"Draco..." I place my hand on top of his, squeezing it slightly. Draco's face softened. "We'll be okay..."

"Draco Lucius Malfoy!" I squeal, wriggling underneath the pile of blankets Draco had plonked me under. Every time I thought he was finished with his obsessive fanatics, he reached for another blanket, wooly and soft, and tucked it over me.
"I told you! You need to keep warm!" Draco responded every time I protested. Eventually, I gave in and left him to grin to himself while he paced the room, finding more reasons to cater to my needs.
"Can I get you anything? Tea? Food? Water? Hot chocolate? Snacks? Lots of snacks?"
"Draco, relax." I spoke in a soft tone, making his hyper-active self still and focus on me for a moment. "I can assure you that I'm fine. Today is your birthday, I'm meant to be spoiling you."
"You've spoiled me enough as it is, darling." Draco said, coming down to sit on the bed besides me. Our eyes met as he reached for the hand that laid on my chest. He grabbed ahold of it and laced his fingers around mine. "The cake, the photo album, the sweets you told Harry and Ron about, the baby... Do I need to go on?"
"Still..." I protest, gently stroking my thumb over the back of one of his linked fingers. "I feel like I should be doing more."
"You've done enough, darling." Draco assured me, brushing the hair out of my eyes. "Just let me take care of you. Thats all I ask."
Drawing in a deep breath through my nose, the room started to feel a lot warmer than it had earlier, and without another thought in mind I finally gave in with a nod. "Okay..."
Draco didn't need a second more before he leaned down and pressed his lips on mine. He placed a hand on my stomach and breathed in the warm scent of my vanilla shampoo, what made him sigh a little. "I can't believe I get to share this life with you." he murmured against my lips, not giving me room to answer as his lips kept coming down onto mine. "I must be such a lucky man.."
"Mhm..." I hummed when he pulled my body completely against his, kissing slowly over my neck and collarbones. I sighed in contentment while my eyes closed, listening to the icy rain thrum against the windows as the storm outside grew.
