Chapter 67

Edward POV

We saw Shuriki lay dead, and we cheered.

"Huh." We heard from behind us.

Mom had just gotten up, clasping her tummy, and forehead.

"Mom!" We hugged her.

"Sofia?" We heard Dad.

"Mom woke up, Dad." I said.

But then, Mom shrieked.

"Sofia, what is it?" We heard Dad.

"Hugo - Shuriki" Mom started.

"I know she's still out there." We heard Dad, grumbling.

Baby Bro and I chuckled.

"Accept the call I'm giving you." Mom said. 

She went near Shuriki, and rope - circle formed from her bracelet.

She showed Shuriki to Dad.

"Why is she laying down like that, with her eyes closed?" Dad asked.

Mom chuckled.

"She's dead." 

"What? That's why the boys were singing that song - The song you had sang when you'd defeated Vor." Dad said.

"Hmm. I'm proud of you, boys." I said, and the boys hugged me.

"Okay, Hugo. You need to get us out." I said.

"Yeah, Cedric's ready." Dad laughed.

Sofia POV

I saw everyone went to the courtyard, and Hugo removed the amulet.

He placed it on the ground.

I saw everyone formed the circle.

"Amureen Evenceet Totem!" I heard Mateo and Cedric.

In no time, Me and the boys were out of the Amulet.

"Coffino." Mateo said.

Shuriki was placed in a coffin.

"Glad everything's over." Hugo said.

Everyone was hugging each other, especially, everyone was hugging the boys.

"Me too." I said.

Orion came up to me, and took me to the side. I nodded at what he said.

Orion, Vega, Garish, Chrysta and Me gathered around in a circle.

Hugo was outside the circle, confused.

"King Hugo." I smiled. "Today, by helping and not giving up two defeat two powerful evils, and by even wanting to sacrifice yourself for the Realm, you have proved yourself more than worthy to be a protector. Step into the circle of light." 

Hugo smiled at me, and did so.

"By the power vested in me by the blessings of the EverRealm, I hereby proclaim you 'Protector of the EverRealm." I announced.

The lights shot up, and when it was done, Hugo was in his official Protector uniform, somewhat resembling mine, but green in colour.

"Thanks, Sofia." He said, hugging me sideways.

"No problem. I knew you could do it." I smiled.

We all then departed to the castle, and everyone else went home. It was only me, Hugo, Des, James, Mom and Dad.

The kids all volunteered to sleep together, and James and Des said they could sleep in Mine and Amber's previous rooms. 

We all had dinner, and drifted off to sleep.
