nico (as the son of hades is the ghost king) chose to help the quest members
"the child of athena's final stand."
daedalus, child of athena, would have one last battle
"earth's rage shall separate them from all,"
the earthquake (gaea — still sleepy, but a little more awake than before — being mad at percy for killing her son) separates ethan and riley from the rest of the group
"the traitor to help the crown, and take the fall."
the traitor — ethan — helped riley — the crown. (he calls her beauty queen) he gets in trouble with kelli, but he saved her life
"destroy with a hero's final breath,"
daedalus' final breath destroyed the labyrinth
"and lose a love to worse than death."
riley lost luke, a brother-figure, because he is hosting kronos' spirit. that's a fate worse than death
