it was nighttime and we were still working.

dr. banner was scanning the scepter with a gamma ray detection scanner, while my dad and i tried to solve some of the algorithms that were showing up.

"the gamma readings are definitely consistent with selvig's reports on the tesseract," dr, banner said, looking up at us. "but it's gonna take weeks to process."

"if we bypass their mainframe and direct a reroute to the homer cluster, we can clock this around six hundred teraflops," my dad muttered offhandedly.

dr. banner laughed a little, "all i packed was a tooth brush."

a soft laugh escaped my lips, "you know what bruce, i like you. you're a cool dude."

bruce smiled, though i could sense the relief in his emotions, "thanks."

my dad smiled as he walked towards bruce, "you know, you should come by stark towers sometime. top ten floors, all r&d. you'd love it, it's candy land."

"yeah, i designed it!" i chirped up. "it's pretty fucking sick."

bruce gave a dry smile, "thanks, but the last time i was in new york i kind of broke... harlem."

"well, i promise a stress free environment," my dad lied. "no tension. no surprises."

he suddenly zapped bruce with an electric rod.

"ow!" bruce exclaimed.

"dad!" i exclaimed, exasperated. "how many times have i told you to stop electrocuting people?"

my dad ignored me as he watched bruce closely, hoping to see the hulk make an appearance.

"hey!" captain america called out, walking in the room.
