"cynthia? um, allen?" i read the first name on the attendance.
"here!" she raised her hand in the air.
"alright," i examined the sheet in my hand and read off the next two names. "rory? brooklyn?"
"here!" two more voices chorused.
"you three are gonna be in one group," i told them. "um, manhattan, upper west side. there's a hellhound nest behind one of the parks."
the trio nodded.
demigods needed prophecies to leave camp, but now with the war looming closer and closer, everyone was sent out randomly on combat missions. we were sending a bunch of small troops, and scouting groups out today, which i had organized.
"next three are, amora, lu, and liam," i read the next three names off the list.
"here!" three voices announced their presence.
"alright, you three have to travel to boston. there's been a report on a group of demigods trying to get to camp. don't make contact with them," i told them sternly. "just scout the situation, and i-m us back here. we'll send backup, or bring you home."
"got it," lu watson nodded her head at me.
"lydia, alith, mara?" i called out.
once again, three voices announced their presence.
"alright, you three are gonna scout queens," i explained. "there's been sighting of numerous hellhounds, and i need you three to check it out. let chiron know what's going on, and he'll let you know what our next steps will be."
"got it," lydia confirmed.
"okay, next three," i muttered to myself. "izzy, katie, and andromeda lune?"
"here!" three voices confirmed.
"you three are heading to connecticut," i told them. "nests of draceanae are popping up all over the place, and you guys are scouting it. i repeat scouting, so don't engage."
