i was building my sixth paper airplane of the hour, when a knock in the door interrupted me.
the knock startled me so much, i fell out of my chair, and onto one of my other airplanes. i wasn't sure who it was. nobody said they were coming to visit. curious, i made my way to the door.
opening the door, i came face to face with someone i've missed.
"thalia!" i exclaimed.
"riley! i told you i'd hold you to your offer," she smirked.
i smiled, "come in."
she came in and looked at my dorm.
it was simple enough. there was a double bed on one side on the room. the room was a light blue. i had a small wall with pictures of all my friends, above my headrest. there were fairy lights surrounding the pictures.
on the other side i had a desk with some blueprints. there was a purple beanbag chair on the wall beside it. the closet was on the same side as the dorm room door. there was a room by the washroom where i usually worked on my projects.
all around the room i had small pillows and stuffed animals. i fell asleep anywhere while i was working on a project, so they came in handy.
the entire floor had 10 dorm rooms, five of them were single. mine was the only one with a washroom. there were three other washrooms on this floor. there was also a lounge, and kitchen area for us.
"cute," she muttered.
"so, what's up?" i asked her.
"okay," she sat up straight. "i want to go shopping. i need some new clothes."
