when i told my siblings i was going on a quest, nina — my youngest sibling — began crying.

when i asked her what was wrong, she began blubbering some nonsense about makeup, and how my nails could chip (she's nine). i comforted her while the rest of my siblings packed my bags.

silena and aurora had somehow gotten a bag that could fit anything inside.  it was simple enough, a baby pink color.  it took them a little while, but they got it done.

"extra clothes?" silena asked.

"check," i responded.

"toothbrush?"

"check."

"drachmas, mortal credit card?"

"got drachmas, stole one of my dad's cards, so i'm good."

"sunscreen?"

"why do i need sunscreen?" i asked.

"i packed some. medea's trademark," cayden, one of my siblings told her.

"snacks."

"check."

"nectar and ambrosia?"

"check."

"extra socks?"

"you guys packed twenty-two pairs," i exclaimed.

"i will not have my sister walking around the country with smelly feet," silena said.

"metal tools to tinker with when you get bored?"

"check"

"cellphone?"

"yup," my dad had given me a cellphone. he made it demigod safe, but i still didn't use it too much.

"wristband?"

i held up my left wrist, "check."

my wristband was a simple, lilac colored band that i wore on my left hand.  when i pressed it to a chip, (that i installed in the back belt loop in every jeans i owned and in the sleeves of most of my t-shirts), it would activate J.A.R.V.I.S. i could also use voice-activation, but if i'm trying to be silent, then i would press it to the chip.
