riley doesn't like the demon-pigeons
i walked into the aphrodite cabin.
the hangout area was at the front of the cabin. it was decorated with pink and white beanbags and rugs. there were fairy lights hanging from the ceiling.
on the right and left walls there were two doors that led to the change rooms. the one on the right was for the boys and on the left was for the girls.
on the opposite wall to the entrance room were two more doors. on the right side, it led to the boys sleeping quarters, and the left side led to the girls sleeping quarters. it was one giant room, but it would be separated in two when we drew the curtain at night.
i entered the change room and looked in the mirror.
"oh my gods!" i gasped upon seeing my reflection.
i pulled out a clump of grass from my hair. i groaned, and washed my face, cleaning the little cuts. i changed out of my (shredded) jeans, and sweater. i pulled my dad's black sabbath t-shirt over my head, and pulled on some basketball shorts.
i went to the beanbag area of the cabin, only to be bombarded with questions from my siblings.
"did you have any monster attacks?"
"how was the concert?"
"need some ambrosia for the scratches?"
"how did you do the flying thing?"
"did you have fun during your trips?"
i shook my head, and smiled.
"guys!" i yelled, getting their attention.
"yes, i had many monster attacks through the year. the concert was amazing. yes, i would like some ambrosia. i have no idea how i did the flying thing. and, i had a lot of fun." i said. "any more questions?"
"no, i don't think so." silena said laughing.
"good. because i'm exhausted. night." i said walking into the sleeping quarters.
