"my mom said, 'it's time,'" i told chiron. "something about learning the past."

chiron pursed his lips. "very well then. i assume your mortal journey will begin soon. bring one friend if you'd like and follow me."

i brought annabeth, grover and percy. i was gonna bring ethan too, but i couldn't find him. chiron gave me an exasperated look when he saw the three of them with me, but in the end, he decided to go with it.

chiron led us to the attic steps and stopped under them.

"the... four of you can go to the attic," he motioned to the stairs. "there's a trunk on the right side. it's labelled—"

"—r.b.," i cut in. "i saw it... when i went to get my prophecy, it was there."

chiron nodded grimly, "everything you need to know is in there."

i nodded my thanks, and made my way up, my three friends following me.

"what trunk is he talking about?" percy asked once we got to the top. "i've never seen that kind of trunk up here."

i shrugged, "i don't know what's in it exactly, but i saw it a few times. it's weird. it kind of called out to me or something like that. i started getting the visions after that."

"what are these visions you talk about?" annabeth asked.

"i didn't tell you guys?" i muttered to myself.
