"happy birthday! happy birthday!!" uccello squawked, waking me up.
i groaned, and sat up. getting ready, i made my way downstairs.
"happy born-day kiddo." my dad said, as i walked downstairs with pop-tarts.
"thanks dad."
"whose coming later?" he asked, referring to the mini-party i was having after.
"uhh... annabeth, lu—" i cut myself off from saying luke's name, and continued. "silena, cayden, aurora, nina, nicholas, henry, and ayana."
those were my siblings that stayed at camp year-round. annabeth was my best-friend, so she would obviously come. i invited percy, but he had school.
"what about percy?" my dad asked.
"school." i said.
he nodded.
i ate another pop-tart and went upstairs.
i changed into simple dress.
it wasn't too fancy. the top part was white, and the bottom half was a light pink silk. there was a white ribbon that was tied around my waist, separating the two parts. i wore white ballet flats, and tied my hair in a half-up-half-down style. i recently perfected my winged eyeliner, so i applied some on my eyes. i covered my freckles, and went to the room where the party would be held.
