just wanted to explain something to you guys rq:
there is a story similar to this on wattpad by -CELESTIALAPHRODITE called allure me [ prev. alluring ] ( make sure y'all check it out and give her some love <3 )
because of plot similarities, we've been getting a lot of pms saying we copied the other's story,
so here's the full thing:
- alluring came out (in april) before resistance (in september)
- i had not yet found nat's story, or even heard of it, and this story was completely my own idea
- our timelines were different, with the mcu taking place later on and slower in my book
- isabela merced as a fc was a recommendation from a now inactive account (nat and i had not yet found each other's books)
- later on, we found each other's stories, talked, and the two of us are friends
- there are similarities in the plot, but none of them were intentional!
- the two of us finished our stories around the end of last year
- i revamped resistance, making the layout look better, but the plot line remained the same
- nat decided to rewrite alluring, and is doing it rn
that's it!
neither of us copied the other,
we just have similar plots because of the fandoms/ship we used to make the crossover!
