PROLOGE- -

Dawne collapsed against the nearest chimney utterly exhausted.  The shingles beneath her feet were  slippery from the constant downpour of rain the city was suffering from. She let out an exasperated sigh...

"Where is he?"

She had been waiting for over two hours... of course he wasn’t coming. Yet she waited anyways just for the hope to yell at him for making her wait in the rain. Maybe she would catch a cold and die, he’d certainly feel bad then!

“I shouldn’t have argued with him last night...” She whispered into the air remembering how he left her standing in this very spot.

Dawne let her eye lids droop, feeling heavy from the lack of sleep. She must have dozed off for she woke with a start when she heard heavy wing beats. Her eyes graced Chaos's figure contrasted against the harsh light of the moon. He was flying fast and landed none too gracefully on the roof with a thud.

Once his feet touched down he walked towards her with purposeful heavy steps. His eyes were dark and his expression was dangerously serious.

“You’re late!” She cried crossing her arms over her chest, not bothering to stand up. “I’ve been up here for hours! I--”

Chaos said nothing and Dawne stopped talking as he stopped in front of her and squatted down. They were face to face...dangerously close and Chaos stared right into her eyes.

“What?” She whispered meekly, all anger fading away.

His hand roughly grabbed her chin and he stared into her eyes hard. His brow was furrowed and he inched closer just staring.

She was about to open her mouth to speak when his lips brushed over hers gently. Tingles ran down her back and she unconsciously arched towards him. He pulled away slightly then came back with a crushing and punishing kiss.

Dawne gasped against the assault as his lips moved over hers, urging her for a response. Feather tips brushed her shoulders causing her to shiver in pleasure at the contact. Before she knew it Chaos had cast his wings over their crouching forms, wrapping them in a dark cocoon.

He stopped kissing her at once and Dawne felt frustrated at the loss of contact.

“Dawne.” His breath was hot against her neck.

“You have been found out. You’re not safe here anymore.”
